    ^^ YES!!!

When this thread lit up and I saw that you had posted, I thought "Oh!  Did he get his approval?  If he did then that means mine should be soon!"  LOL!!

Exactly! Every time I saw someone got their good news and I kept wondering when would be my time to announce it lol

but no pressure! Good news will come when you’re not expecting it!

  2. My case just updated today and said new card is being produced!
I filed in January 2021 and my fingerprints were applied to my case in February 2021, and I had no update until today. No RFE or interview. I literally jumped from my bed lol

honestly I thought it was gonna take much longer because it’s LIN

    good luck everyone!

Yeah that'd true. I don't know if they just forgot to tell me they didn't need them originally. Seems likely as I just applied for citizenship less than a week ago and then it came through.

It looks like the citizenship application moves much faster than I751, good luck on your citizenship application!

I don’t plan to get citizenship so I really wish I don’t have to do that to push my i751 case :( but it’s relieving to know that my waiting time is not an outlier aha

    Update on my case.

    I-751 FILED: MARCH 9TH 2021

    I-751 NOA: MARCH 14, 2020

BIOMETRICS WAIVES: MARCH 9TH, 2021 (FINGERPRINTS CAN BE USED FROM PREVIOUS APPT)

    N-400 FILED: MARCH 6TH, 2021

I-797: MARCH 8TH, 2021 (BIOMETRICS WAVED AS WELL)

Seems too much of coincidence I got my biometrics waved for I-751 three days after I filed N-400, but at least my case seems to be finally moving after 12 months! A year is a long time to have fingerprints taken, who knows what's going to happen next!

I  think I'm more likely to achieve citizenship before I get my 10 year green card!

    Best to all!

So you waited almost one year for the biometric update after receiving your NOA1?

damn I was worrying because seeing other filers before and after me getting their updates and it’s been 40 days since I received my NOA1

I think USCIS converts the payment to an electronic payment.. Meaning it's not a physical check that they cash. They take your acct # and routing number and submit it as an ACH (automated clearing house) payment... Simple terms it wasn't a physical check presented to your bank so they probably won't have a copy of it..

thanks for explaining! I was worried because I could see the copy of the check I sent when I applied for i485 and I started to panic aha

  6. Hi everyone my package was received Jan 6 and my check was cashed Feb 9. My check is from Chase and they usually upload a copy of the check when is deposited. However, this time I couldn’t see the image of the check on my account even after it’s no longer pending so I couldn’t check if they put my case number on the check. I called the bank but they can’t do anything besides telling me if it’s not uploaded at the time that it’s deposited, it won’t be upload in the future. I didn’t fill the form for e notification (regret regret), and now I might worry about losing my mail nonstop until I receive the noa. I have lost mails from government office before because I live in an apartment complex and they may misplaced my mail in another box.
Does anyone know what to do if I never receive the first noa? I imagine it would be difficult since I wouldn’t know my case# either.

Also, I’ve searched online people were saying bank always keeps a copy of the checks, maybe I should check my luck at a local branch?
