I am a German resident, this is why I asked in this forum. Also I went through my interview already, so everything is okay. Thank you for the response!

RussiaMidwest reacted to RnJ2021 in Visa Interview In Frankfurt
We scheduled an interview for Friday - yesterday. There was a Thursday slot.
Frankfurt holds a few slots for close in interviews-Ukraine, F a J visas I think.

Also Warsaw is the designated embassy for not just Polish, but also Russian applicants. So from the standpoint of waiting times, I'm not sure if Warsaw would be a better option. You could also try and see if any other European embassy will accept your case - there might be less of a backlog in that case.

RussiaMidwest got a reaction from CelloLover in Difficulties with making an appointment for a medical examination in Frankfurt for Ukrainians (k1 visa)
The office in Frankfurt may be overbooked with other Ukrainian applicants, since Frankfurt is the desgnated embassy - perhaps you'd have better luck with Berlin? I hope your suggestion goes through though, it makes no sense that the USCIS//NVC/Embassies are expediting Ukrainian cases only for them to get stuck waiting for the medical appointment.

So I received the reply, and apparently this applies only to Ukrainian cases:

    Dear Ms. RussiaMidwest,
If your case was not initially planned to be processed in Kyiv, Ukraine and you have no connection to Ukraine, please disregard previous message.  You should follow the instructions you have received for processing regular Frankfurt cases. The exceptional processing of medical examination is only for Ukrainian cases.
    Sincerely,
