Yep - this happened to us too. Our receipt said Nebraska but it was transferred to Potomac same day. Annoying.

Ohhh that’s great!!!! I’m visiting my husband on October, can’t wait!! I’m trying to study and just don’t think about it, but sometimes is so difficult!!! 
I hope your preparations go smoothly and that you two enjoy every minute of your wedding. 

I filed March 3 and only started getting actively reviewed June 23. Nothing since. I'm in Potomac.

This is literally the exact same timeline and situation as me. Applied March 2, NOA1 March 3. Receipt said Nebraska, Emma told me Potomac. But it's unclear if I was ALWAYS Potomac or if I was transferred there. A bit confusing. 
 
I am also still in the Receipt stage and hoping to get into Actively Reviewing soon. I've seen some people with a March timeline at Potomac move to AR so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I'm soon. 
 
We are going to still be waiting quite a while though I think. Potomac is SLOW.

That's so amazing! I hope it keeps moving quick. I'm stuck in Potomac so it's going to be a hot minute for me to get to Actively Reviewing lol.

Totally!! It's definitely easier and cheaper than a lot of people. I am very blessed for that. I'm not expecting any sort of fast movement to be honest. I just WANT fast movement haha. Should I be waiting until it changes to the next step to file I-129f? SO sorry for all the questions. 

Thank you! Yeah, I almost feel bad adding to the workload, but at the same time, I would love for it to MAYBE speed up my case. I think we all want a fast moving case, you know? We filed just over a month ago and it's still in "Receipt" mode.

Found out today that our application is actually with Potomac and NOT Nebraska. We checked 2 weeks after our NOA1 and the agent confirmed we were in Nebraska. Now the agent is claiming we were always at Potomac and the Potomac Service Center simply had Nebraska send us our receipt. I don't think I've heard of that before but who knows.
 
So not 100% sure who is right or wrong and if we were always there or if we were transferred there. I'm treating it as a transfer for timeline purposed but I'm really unsure. Feeling a bit deflated with the processing time comparison but I'm just going to try to trust the process and say they did it because the work load is less there than Nebraska.

I'm also a March 2022 filer. Mine is IOE and the bottom of it said Nebraska BUT when we asked Emma, they said it was in Potomac from the beginning and not Nebraska. 

I have no idea why it autoselects this one. You'd have to ask them. You manually have to go in to pick your own. 

You need to make your own decision.
No one can tell you what will happen. But, if you decide to file follow up so others can hear another experience. 

I feel silly that I don't know this after all my research, but I keep hearing different things so I'm very unsure. I heard that Canadians cannot file the K3 but I'm not quite sure if that means I can't file the I-129F to try to act as a trigger for my I-130. 
 
Also, IF I am able to file the I-129F to go alongside my I-130, do I have to pay the $535 fee as with that one as well?
 
Sorry for these questions but I just keep hearing different things and I don't know which to listen to. 

I'm pretty new to the process as we just filed at the beginning of March, but we included pictures of us from each time we were together, our travel details and we also included about 6 letters from our friends and families expressing their support of our relationship and their observations of a loving relationship.
 
We are still just in the receipt stage so I can't tell you if it worked or not lol But that's what we did. Only time will tell I suppose!
