Congratulations!!! I am not sure why the August thread is so dead, but there were 175 approvals yesterday in August! So if anyone's waiting, this week is probably going to be your week!

I would just want people to be more courteous. What mod action, if any is taken is not for me to comment on

It'll be this. People were (i think rightfully) upset they couldnt share the website or screenshots from it whereas you seemingly can for lawfully 

So if we all must remain unfailingly supportive of each other, then why do people get banned here for tracking and presenting accurate data and creating effective support systems in regards to this process?

I know gaslighting when I read it, and girl you are a pro. 

The replies I am refering to are not misreading tone, using your imagery does not change things. My culture is very blunt and to the point, I know comments like that can be misread, I'm not mixing them. This is in reference to 100% rude and unhelpful commentary and pile ons. 
 
I hear numerous members with these complaints and see many OPs nope out if a thread or say they're not appreciating rude ess only for the rude person to double down 
 
If mods want to sweep it under rug of 'theyre just busy/blunt' then enjoy losing members you could have kept

In addition to the above, bear in mind that the most experienced members are typically participating in a great many threads all across the forums, trying to be concise while openly providing advice gained from personal or forum experience.
 
If a response seems unnecessarily blunt, read it again, picturing a brotherly or sisterly or avuncular arm around your shoulders as the words in the post are spoken.  Doing this can restore the elements of "tone" that are routinely lost when words are merely typed.  If you perceive more helpfulness after reading the post in this way, then you have your answer as to whether the post was well-meant.

Folks, this legal-immigration process is dysfunctional at best and broken at worst.  The tension and frustration become unbearable, seemingly with no way to fight against it or relieve it.  Please remain unfailingly supportive of each other.  Remember that if you hold one pencil and snap it, it will break; conversely, if you hold a handful of pencils and try to snap them, they'll remain undamaged.  It's best to hang together through this journey.

Remember, too, that those of us who are finished with this infernal process are hoping and praying for your progress almost as intensely as you are.  You're not alone, and you're never forgotten.  Take comfort and find renewed strength in this.

I regret signing up with this website, it’s toxic AF. I actively avoid the forums because just seeing OP’s getting dragged over the coals for asking questions is disheartening.

We were expecting a RFE bcs we forgot to sent my bf criminal court records so we suppose the RFE is related to that😭❤️

The average per work day is about 250. Some months it's higher, some it's lower. I think we've hit a plateau so it will continue to fluctuate slightly up and down. This month was also most likely one for people to take holiday around the 4th so may be expected. 
 

Comparing total cases processed in a month against each other is like comparing apples to oranges because some months have more/less working days than others. 
 
Also, this month is on pace for just north of 5k cases if they process at the rate they have done so far in July ~252/day. But regardless of the monthly total, what you want and need to focus on is the daily average over the past 2 months (June/July) which is ~257/cases a day. This gives you a more substantial chunk of recent data to accurately reflect what speed USCIS is processing.

Honestly, ever since certain things transpired and people were banned it feels like VJ isn't about having a community where you can go and support each other, because the policy prevents us from sharing certain things. I get that the policy is there, but it seems like the spirit of the law would've been better than the letter of the law. People were still coming here to discuss other things, but now they were forced to choose one or the other and VJ doesn't provide the data that the other option has...
I have only left my account open so I can get answers from others when I have questions in the future as I'm not on social media. I feel very disenfranchised with this site after it used to bring hope and community.

I should note: make sure to click “view online” because sometimes the app doesn’t update the main page information the same day. Ours still shows “case received” on the main page, but online it is indeed approved.

Your feelings are completely valid and i won't tell you to feel otherwise but they started march about two months ago? You're still very much on their radar and within a normal delay. Doesn't make it any less sucky but it'll come 💚

Which USCIS processing center did you work at? You seem to have a lot of valuable information, and I would love to hear some insight. 

Yes i know. It's the same for our basic checks. It's a surface level check that just looks for basic flags. Deeper searches are higher clearance, I'm not talking about those 
 
A simple check can take a day or months in the UK. I would assume US is the same. As I stated you can literally have the same history as some one else, right down to your addresses and for some reason it's slower for one and not the other. 
 
Hell ESTAs take variable time and that's literally a basic form that is automated. Everyone does the same ESTA. Its not a team digging into history and yet...some people take mins and others takes hrs or days. It's not as simple as you're making it. The same check does NOT mean it's the exact same speed every single time. 
 
I don't work at USCIS so maybes I'm wrong and there is a simple check that really is the equiv of a google search but I'd be shocked as it's not that simple in UK for what I assume is an analogous check. I've also seen someones inuiry come back saying their security check was still pending which is the other reason I dont think its as simple as a quick search.

agree with this. The early 2021 are a mystery though. I never see filers from then who are still waiting so it's unclear what the situation is, whether they're 'active' cases or something happened that we're unaware of. If these include RFEs, many get an RFE and never respond and it can take months+ for USCIS to circle back and change the status to denied.
