ANubis_66 got a reaction from Christian And Van in US embassy in Paris - Approved K1 but no visa yet
So I did email them 3 times no response yet
I did an online inquiry on their website (2 times) no response yet
I called them many times but not helpful at all. when they transfer me to the visa section the phone disconnected.
The case shows ready still and I'm concerned

I'm just looking to see if anyone has the same issue with this embassy

  2. Thanks

Applicants with questions about visa applications currently in process with the Embassy may send their inquiry via ParisIVPending@state.gov for Immigrant visa applications or ParisVisaInquiry@state.gov for Nonimmigrant visa applications.

You won't hear from nvc until the file ships to Paris.   Likely won't happen until sometime in 2021

Quarantine for 14 days in a non banned country before arriving
  4. Thanks

My fiancé is from Germany and did a 14 day quarantine in Mexico before coming to the USA. It’s not ideal but it worked with no problems. I joined her down there for about 9 of the 14 days.

I assume your fiance qualifies for ESTA?  UK and Schengen EU citizens have been using Mexico, Serbia, and Turkey to wait the 14 days before travelling to the US.

She will need to quarantine elsewhere for 14 days before arrival - risky as any country can change the list of who can and can’t enter at any time. Mexico is currently an option but everything is subject to change.

Or the two of you meet in a third country that you can both travel to.

Or you can try your luck for a laissez-passer at the French consulate here. Quite a few hurdles to overcome to be approved so a visit in a third country would almost certainly be easier.
