Saw some people posting who crossed POE around the same time as me wondering about getting their green cards. Thought I would give an update.I had reached over 90 days and planned on contacting USCIS but I was too busy. Checked status Feb 11 status said the card was produced! I got the card in the mail Saturday Feb 19th. A little over 90 days. I crossed November 1, 2021.

Sadly my mom was told today they are selling her rental and has 60 days to move.. she has lung cancer and needs all the help packing ect. Sorry to hear about your mom. I returned to Canada 6 days after activating my visa and it was not an issue entering Canada or returning to the US!

No, sorry I should have specified! I only know because it says the date it was issued in the card.

I got my SSN already. Cross Nov 1, card was issued Nov 3 and received it Nov 10. No GC though I suspect that will take a little longer for me still.

I had my interview Oct 15 and crossed POE Nov 1. I got my SSN today! No green card yet though.

I remember reading that they dispatch passports on Fridays, so yours might be dispatched on Nov 12.

Yep it’s true!! Happened to me and no idea why. I know how you feel! I’m hoping you’ll get “issued” soon, you’re so close to the end!! Ps I received “final issued” on a Thursday, tracking number Friday. Packed up my uhaul and picked up my passport on Monday! @katcat29

Finally received my passport back November 1st and crossed POE the same day! I drove my uhaul across the Queenston Lewiston Bridge. The experience was very easy and fast! I was there for a total for 18 minutes. The officer at the booth had no idea what to do, sent me to secondary. I parked the truck and went inside. There were a couple other people waiting but they helped me right away. He stamped my visa. The only question I was asked was if I would still be working in Canada (no.) Thank you to everyone here, it has made this process much easier! Good luck to everyone and always feel free to message me with any questions! 

Got my Canada post tracking number today at 12:05 PM! No info available quite yet though. 
 

**question to those of you that changed your name and brought the new passport with your married name to interview… they still have me listed in my maiden name with my old passport number… is that normal?

I’m still waiting from the 15th… the processing of things seems to have slowed down? And a few people on here with refusals recently too? Things seem weird in Montreal right now

Question! Does it say issues with the “under administrative processing” note or the note about tracking number?

Sitting here at my desk trying not to cry… I’m super happy for everyone who got their passports today and interviews from this morning who immediately got “issued” but is anyone else who was approved this month still waiting in AP? I was approved on the 15th and everyone behind me is already ahead of me! At what point should I be concerned? It’s so hard to make plans when nothing is moving along..

Just received my passport in the mail! We go the tracking number on Friday and it was just delivered today around 1:15pm, in Vaughan ON. 

I am flying tomorrow to be with my wife and will update everyone how POE goes!

Just a heads up for those taking their own pictures for the passport photos - my pictures weren't good enough (background wasn't white enough and apparently poor quality) so I was given an hour or so to go find a place that would take new ones for me. There is a Pharmaprix next door that would take them but they open at 9 and I had to be back by 9. Fortunately, we found a passport photo specific place that opened at 8:30 and it was only $20 for 2.

Congrats on the approval!! Would you mind keeping me updated when your status changes and tracking info? I’m still anxiously waiting for my passport to be returned!

 I am praying for you that you get your status changed to "issued- final processing" today and that they even ship it out. It would truly be unfortunate if they do batch ship them out every friday and therefore you'd have to wait another week. That would be unfair for you (or anyone) to have to wait that long. I am staying hopeful for you and honestly, I'd spam their emails personally haha!

Thank you! I’m hoping I’ll see something in the next couple hours. It says the last update in my account was today but they still have me in AP so I feel so worried something is wrong. Nervously waiting to see what happens!

Congrats happy for you guys!!! Nothing for me tho  I’m a little bummed because I’m still under “issued” under AP. My appointment was earlier then a couple people who got their tracking number already… so I’m starting to feel a little worried

Yes they are supposed to send you an email when the tracking number becomes available!

Thank you! I really appreciate that. I just emailed them! I’m hoping for some kind of update today because I’m worried I was forgotten or something is wrong.

Would you mind updating me when you get further updates and tracking number? I’m feeling super worried since I saw your post because my interview was October 15th they said they intended to approve my visa and my status still shows “ready”

Wondering if anyone who had their interview around the same time as me had gotten any status updates or tracking info yet? My interview was October 15 and my status still just says “ready!” With everyone getting their passports back so quickly lately I was hoping for mine to be quick too!
