I feel bad to say that makes me feel better. But by that I just mean I'm glad I'm not alone in this. Hadn't thought to file the extension for an EAD or that I could, really. Just never expected the interview to take longer than the expiration date of the EAD.
 
 

Yeah, u r not alone. I am pretty sure that u wouldn’t have to apply for another renewal 😂 as we will get 2 year EAD. 

Hi all, newest update! "Card Being Produced" on April 9th! About 2.5 weeks after our interview! WOOHOO!

My status changed to new card being produced - woo!!! Looking forward to hearing your updates!

We just finished our interview yesterday. Waited about 30 minutes. The woman was nice enough but clearly had not reviewed our application at all before we entered in. Asked my husband about his parents, about his clubs he belongs to? That was odd. And then asked for updates like photos, bills we pay together, proof we live together, etc. Also asked us how we met how we got engaged, our wedding, etc. It all went relatively smoothly. However, at the end, she just stated that she didnt see any red flags at the moment, but had to review further and we would get an answer within 3-4 weeks...
 
we were really disappointed as we have had some friends go through the NOLA office and were told IN the interview that they were approved. We just are dying to be done with this entire nightmare. So we're bummed and worried. Our status online as of the next day still states "interview complete and case must be reviewed." Will keep you posted. 

You were right, i-130 went to 'approved' two days after the interview and the i-485 says 'card mailed' today (three days after interview).

Awesome 🎉🎉 my card is finally coming closer. After seven days of nothing it made it to MS today and should get delivered tomorrow. 

My wife & I went to the AOS interview yesterday. And today we see the following:

I-485: 
February 23, 2021 New Card Is Being Produced (case status)
February 23, 2021 Your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, was completed, and your case must be reviewed. We will mail you a notice if we make a decision or take further action.

Finally got an update “Interview was scheduled” today. Patiently waiting for the mail to come in.

Yes approved and card is being produced since about 3pm 😊😊🎉

I'm back from my interview. The immigration officer was super nice and tried her best to put me at ease about everything. We went through the basics of the application, added my new job to it and she asked a couple of the 'are you dangerous to the US' questions. She asked a couple questions about how we met and where we got married here and there during the interview. Then she asked if I brought anything new that I want to add to the file and I just handed her a folder with copies from bank accounts, bills etc for her to keep. She didn't really looked at it just told me she will add it to my file and that's it. The servers were down so she couldn't make the changes directly in the computer but said she aims for approving it today. Fingers crossed 😁 I'll definitely sleep good tonight.
The interview took about 15-20 minutes and everyone was super nice there. I've seen 6 couples there this morning and talked to a lawyer who was waiting for his next clients. He said before covid waiting times for your appointment were crazy on some days ( like scheduled for 9 but have to wait till 12) but right now everything works nice and smooth.

Also got email yesterday, interview is scheduled.  Filed on 2/3/2020🥳

My wife just received an email that her interview is scheduled. She filed for AOS on 2/18/20. I'm assuming this will be in New Orleans as we live in Baton Rouge. Waiting for the actual notice now.

@Letspaintcookies  im so glad to hear that i just saw your post ... that also gives us some kind of timeline where new orleans is at in interviews.... wish you good luck and a quick and easy interview

Just got the update that my interview was scheduled. Now waiting for the letter with the date. I'm over the moon 🥳🥳🥳
 
The update came 30 minutes after I paid $13 to send my ead renewal application in...

What a nice  Christmas present 🎁!

That usually means that the office who had your case may have way too many cases it can handle so they will send it to another office then that office is going to send you a letter to let you know what office is now taking over your case, it doesn't necessarily mean you're getting an interview right away but maybe your case may move a little faster it all depends where it was sent to.

I got an update today that the "interview was scheduled". No update on EAD/AP after fingerprints were taken. 

my mom received hers about a week after her EAD and my dads took about 3 weeks.
