  1. If it gets 100 MPG on one gallon of gas, I wonder how much electric that takes.

And a $7500 federal tax credit? Seriously? Why do we continue to elect knuckleheadz who do stupid ####### like this?

Wow slim, thats pretty absurd, even for you. I guess in your mind, we should just keep using the least efficient vehicles we can and just deal with it, Road Warrior style when we run out of oil?

  2. They play in New England next week. Did you watch the game or just the highlights? Most of the big plays were the result of Pittsburgh putting 8 or 9 guys in the box to stop the run. Receivers got open - Tebow made the throws.

When Tebow hit's his receivers like that, the Bronco's are hard to defend. Now he hasn't done that often or consistently. When he does, a defense can commit to stopping the run or the pass, but it's hard to do both. The Steelers decided they were going to stop the run, and they did. Nobody expected Tebow to be able to pass and he did. End of story, really.

I watched the game, but I don't give Tebow as much credit as I do the receivers who made the play. If a receiver gets open and cathes an 8 yard post, makes a move to get separation and run it the rest of the way, I would tend to give the receiver the lions share of the credit. Virtually every ball he throws is like a dead duck falling from the sky. The steelers were down most of their top players, so they had to adjust. Taylor played horribly I have to say.

I think this offseason, and more specifically the upcoming draft will be more indicative of Denver's intentions regarding Tebow going forward. They have shed some players this season for salary purposes, and others because they were cancerous in the lockeroom. They have failed to pick up anyone that would indicate that they were headed towards bolstering the veer-option offense with tebow, or return to a traditional pro style offense. I don't think the Broncos are sold 100% on Tebow, but he will get another opportunity next year to start, regardless of how next week goes.

  3. Hope and Change? Should've been "more of the same."

    You lefties are funny!

Why is it that you, Kip, and Danno's posts all look like they were just cut and pasted from christwire?

True. At least Obama the Socialist has the head start on completely destroying this country. He may not need the whole term to finish what he started.

You really should learn what socialism really is one of these days.

  4. I make no judgments about anyones eternal destinations, I only am confident no one gets more than they deserve and for some, none of what they deserve.

The only way that statement is true is if you qualify it by saying "I make no judgements about anyones eternal destination......as long as they are Christian

Never forget, the fate of your soul and mine will be judged by the same one who designed Sharks

so they are able to tear off the flesh off live baby seals.... yet he also designed the wings of butterflies.

That is only if you believe in that particular bit of science fiction.

  5. I'm asking you now do you support illegal labor in the United States of America? What Gary is saying is put the screws to these pos businesses that fck this country by employing illegals. You try and compete as a business owner in this country by abiding by the laws against some pos who hires illegals.

Instead of posting your usual bs on here, try posting what you would do to rectify the problem.

We should throw out the un-American who take advantage of the welfare and unemployment system and draw benefits when they could work....

  6. Disagree.

Christie is looking to 2016 and, strangely for a politician, wants to finish what he's started in New Jersey. Why settle for VP, when he would likely wipe the floor with everyone else vying for the GOP nomination?

I think all the serious conservative candidates are sitting out until 2016. Despite the president's record, running against an incumbent president is a daunting task.

We heard the same thing about Thompson and then Perry.

Have you seen Thompson's wife? Seriously, I'd run for president for that! I think she wanted it a lot more than him anyways. He never really had a chance anyways.

Thats not a bad VP name... han't thought about him.

If not for his staunch anti-abortion standpoint, I would agree with you.

I got nervous at Perry's first debate.

I think we all did. When he first entered the race, he had all the enthusiasm and fanfare of the right behind him. If not for his eloquent meltdown in various debates, he really could have gone far. Scary that people in this country would be willing to vote for a high functioning retarded kid again for president.

  7. Shouldn't you be on a plane about now heading to some 3rd world country with the rest of the Peace Corps?

Your wrong...as usual. As it has been explained to you before on this board, all they ask is if I am ready and available for work. During my first and only phone interview when I file, one of the first questions they ask is if your in a union and if so what local and what my ledger # is. It's been done that way now for decades. Call your nearest union local for a skilled trade...electricians, pipe fitters, iron workers, pile drivers, carpenters, sprinkler fitters, etc.. and ask them...or call your local unemployment office. It's one of the benefits of being in my trade seeing how it's on again off again work and it's work that they need done. They take our unemployment and they have no skilled union workers to build their roads, bridges, buildings, schools, court houses, etc....

Read this a few times over and read it slow so you just might get it this time.

Wrong again Kip. You are confusing legality with common practice. You are required to be able to accept comparable employment. You are not. There is a fraud line on the Alaska labor website, I hope someone turns you in for fraud. You could accept work that is comparable that does not conflict with union rules, but you don't, you prefer to sit on your ####### and collect entitlements than work.

  8. Link explaining how I am illegally receiving unemployment benefits?

I'm pretty sure Gary and myself explained to you before how it works for union construction workers in regards to unemployment after being layed off. It's not my fault you have a reading comprehension problem.

Kip, you know full well that the standard for continuing collecting entitlement benefits is that you are currently looking for employment. You have posted numerous times that you are planning on sitting on your #######, not attempting to find employment because it is easier. I don't have a reading comprehension problem Corky, but you clearly don't know how to read. I don't expect much from you though, considering your history as retold on alaska state websites....

  9.

Oh no, here we go again with the angry woman!

Here we go with another imbecilic post from Boing. As much as it pains me, SOfiyya is right. It seems citizenship rights only apply to white people for some. If the person in question is a citizen of France, then the law should be applied as such. It's sad that some people don't actually know what citizenship means. You should read more and post less, it would save you from looking so foolish.
