I see so many discussions about CR1 vs K1 here recently, but realistically is CR1 even an option for many due to Covid? I'm in US and my partner is in Hong Kong, which doesn't allow any non-HK Citizen to enter unless on some form of non-tourist visa. This makes getting married right now almost impossible leaving our only option the K1 visa. Alternatives are to attempt to find another country that we are both able to meet up in, but with Covid Restrictions, Work Quarantine rules, Airline issues, etc. the likely hood of that is slim to none as well.

Hey All. I mailed my application on 5/16 and got NOA1 on 5/28/2020. I’ve been checking the case tracker app religiously. I just checked again tonight and saw my I-129F petition was approved on 1/21/2021!

You have only filed a K-1 since October 27.  If you are so impatient, move to Ukraine and live happily ever after there.  Seems your expectation on how fast things should progress is not realistic at all given we are in a worldwide pandemic..

Case sent: May 1st,
Case received: May 4th,
NOA1: May 7th,
NOA2: December 31st.
 
FYI It seems like it takes some time to sync the data on the web site. I literally checked the case status an hour ago and it was still "Received" and now it says that it was approved at December 31st.
 
They started to work on May filers so a little more time and y'all will be approved. It's my wish 🙏

I agree but I also have seen that in June thread there are more message so I thought "wait I second" 😃 Anyways, I see May filers started getting approved which is great!
