  1. Hi all!!!

I just called USCIC using promts that Mike&Beth kindly provided. It 's a first time during my K1 history I spoke to a great person. She sounded very sympathetic to all kind of waits we all experiencing on all our stages. She looked into my case, she even told me that I already spoke to her one time (it was regarding my NOA1 earlier, seems they do have all phone records...), so she told me that YES!!!!!! my petition has left CSC on Nov, 1. She just asked me very gently not to call right away and to give them a week and then call.

Afterforever, U2rsobad, and others that were approved on close dates that may be good information for you too!!

    I am so happy now!

And again, it gives a lot of great emotions just to speak with nice person at USCIS.

  2. just an update: i called NVC and my case STILLLLLLl has NOT arrived!!!!!!! what a bummer!!! approved on Oct 10!!!!!!!!!!

where is my case?? worreid its in some damn back room collecting dust!

I called USCIS today and was told my petition is still in the staging area to be shipped to NVC. I got a touch on Nov.1st but the customer rep. could not give me any reason as to why.

GoharRabia, I am thinking maybe your petition is still in the staging area also, along with mine and U2rsobad.

Try calling USCIS and see if they shipped yours out yet. We have already seen that USCIS does not seem to care about first in being first out.

I guess mine in the same box... :(

Will call to USCIS tomorrow to hear that too. Have you used RFE trick to ask about sending to NVC ?

  3. OMG!!! I just got home and there's my NOA2!!! Dated 10/18!! The website still says pending, but it's really here...Oh I hope all other May filers are in the mail too...damn..I can't type..I keep having to correct this!!

    :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

I'm soo excited!! Thanks everyone for all your support and encouragement. I'm nearly crying I'm so happy!

    Great News!!!! Congrats!!!!

  4. Hi !

Can anyone post a skeleton(sample) for letter to Senator (regarding NVC), since some of you already have done it. I never wrote official letters and despite me being USC , it's not my native language.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

I just went to the website for my Senator, and they had a form to fill out - a release of information form. They asked for my name, phone number, address, SS, CIS number, etc. There was a place to fill in the description of what I needed assistance with. I can't remember exactly what I said, but I just described my situation and asked if she could help me. If you need someone to look over what you intend to send, I would be happy to read it and make corrections, if needed. :)

Thanks a lot Musicgirl, I will try and see what I am able to "create".

I just thought that may be it's suppose to be somehow official email where I describe how long we were waiting for approval (150 days) and now it's going to be more than a month more just to get it shipped. So, no highly trained people are needed , just some additional recourses to move boxes. It's just unbearable!!!!

Just did not know how to create nice and official letter out of my thoughts :-(

  5. Hi everyone!

I posted this question on another thread regarding NOA2 to NVC, just repeating it here too:

Has anyone who is waiting that long to reach NVC tried to contact your congressmen regarding that ridiculous wait. It just insane. No verification, no decision that needs to be made, just simply sitting in a mail room and waits to be shipped. May be congressional inquiry on each personal case can move it finally out?

  6. Thanks a lot, etripke!

I was going to PM you and ask these additional questions, since I often read your very detailed and helpful posts and I know you have the most recent experience with Kiev :-)

I even remember your unusual long wait with documents that stuck at NVC. And just today I looked at your signature and noticed that you got your interview date which is not that long wait from the time Embassy received your docs.

Now it looks more optimistic to me. Even week counts, you know... But still not setting my hopes too high as this process is totally unpredictable sometimes...

  7. Hi everyone!

Just got our NOA2 after 153 days of waiting. I know that waiting will continue with recent situation on sending documents from CSC to NVC. Just wanted to ask those of you who recently scheduled interview in Kiev, how long it takes to wait for appointment from the time you call ? Hoping to reunite before Christmas

    Thanks in advance

8 weeks. So if you know now that you will have everything by then, get your KEV# handy and call NOW to schedule your interview. :)

    Thanks, Zadan.

Just hoped that it would be less then that... Oh well, will wait...

  9. Just want to add a little hope to you all!

We sent our petition on May, 16, but my NOA1 date is June, 5 th

Today at 7 PM Pacific time we've got APROVAL NOTICE!!!!!

    Your time will come too!!!!

Can't even describe what a horrible last weeks I had. Couldn't sleep. Was seeing a vivid dreams about paper envelops flying out from my laptop (which always sleeps with me on the other side of my bed). I even woke up several times in the middle of nights to check the status, so real these dreams were. But today it was totally unexpected at that time of the day. Soooo Happy!!!

I wish all May/June filers will have the same feeling too very soon!!!!!
