  1. It might be the case that they ARE backlogged... I have the same situation. Approved on Aug, 12, case in NVC since Aug, 19, but system message still saying "Case is not in the system". I hoped that it would changed on Saturday to "...forms are generated", or at least that "case in the system"..., but no.

    Will wait for Tuesday's update

  2. I'm happy to join too! And I am also not-so-patiently awaiting the DS-3032/AOS Fee Bill generation. My obsessive online case status checking has morphed into obsessive online invoice generation checking...

Yeah  Same here :-( checkin AVR messages several times a day , even knowing that it's going to change on certain days only...

CHD, We have pretty simular timelines for approval and getting to NVC.

Is your AVR message changed today ?? Mine still saying that case is not is in the system, even though they got in on Wednesday and I was expecting it at least get changed to saying that they have my case , or in the best case scenario-that forms were generated..., but no, nothing...strange...

  3. Thanks Fedup!!

I was very hopeful that today (at Saturday) AVR and/or payment site will be updated with new information for me , but it still says -"We have no record of your case", and online it's "Not Invoiced"...This seems very strange for me. I have my case in since last Wendsday...

Is anybody have their NVC case status updated today??

    Hi,

Since you already have the NVC case #, you can try calling NVC's automated response system and press 1 for English....press 1 again for status check..then press 2 if you have your NVC case # and follow the instructions, there should be an update to your NVC case #. The automated message may say....NVC received your petition on so and so date...and the case number assigned is..............hope this helps.

I did all this( many times ,including today) and it's just not updated for me that is why it seems strange....

Yeah, Fedup, I know that feeling about loong weekend ahead...

Just wondering if someone actually got new updates either on site or on AVR today (Saturday) when we are expecting their system's updates

  4. I got my case in NVC on Aug,19, got IIN on Aug, 21, checking on line payment site like crazy , but it stays in "NOT INVOICED" status.

Is it likely that they can update site on Saturday? ? Or they just updating the AVR on Saturday and not the site? By the way AVR system is still saying that they do not have record of my case despite that it's in since Wensday...

Another question, if they do update it on Saturday -does it worth to send DS3032 on Saturday overnight or I should do it on Monday since they are not receiving mail on weekend?

  5. Finally after 1 hour non stop calling I spoke to operator and she gave me my NVC case #. YEY!!!

But she did not give me IIN number. She told me that online system is down. She also did not buy "I need it for my record" thing :(

Can you tell me if the IIN is on the first papers that NVC sends (DS 2032 and AOS bill)?? I am thinking that in worst case scenario after my additional attempts they don't give it to me, may be after I received the first package from them I will be able to obtain that number from papers and from that time use it for online processes? Is that correct assumption?

  6. I don't see an NOA1 date for your I-129F. There's a good chance the I-129F will simply be rejected because the I-130 was approved before I-129F receipt. I'd take this as a good thing.

Hi pushbrk, I hoped that you will chime in on my situation ;-)

The problem is that I still don't have NOA1 for 129F. It was sent before approval of 130, but since it was not originally sent to the correct service center -now it's somewhere between Chicago lockbox and CSC.

But what if it wouldn't been rejected and I will eventually get NOA1 ?

I am simply afraid that my 130 will not be processed at NVC meanwhile

May be i need to take some actions? I-824? Or I am going to be OK?

  7. Hi. After my happiness about rapidly approved I-130, I started to worry.

I sent my 129 F after we dot NOA1 for 130 -on July, 23. But it was sent by mistake to Chicago lockbox instead of CSC. My 130 got approved on Aug, 12, but as of yesterday (I called to CSC to check)-it was not received yet.

Now when my case (130)is not in NVC yet after a week of approval I am worrying that they could hold my approved 130 until they get and approved my 129F because I indicated that it will be K3 case on my letter for I-130. Is that possible?? What should I do in that situation??

Or you think that 129F does not matter, since they approved my 130 already??

    Please share your thoughts!

  8. I was approved on Aug, 12 and was very hopefull that today AVR system will tell me that NVC case # is assigned..., but no, it was not received yet, although some people from CSC who got approved on the same date have their cases in NVS already...

I am worrying because we sent both 130 and 129 F, but my 130 got approved even before my 129F NOA1 was received. In fact it has not been received by now (sent on July 23). May be they holding off my approved 130 in CSC until 129F will join and gets approved???

Should I worry that I can't take CR1 path because we sent 129 F and clearly indicated that this is K3 case??

  11. Hello my friends VJers!

I got an email notice about my I-130 Approval!!!!!

YES! I am definitely happy...but absolutely lost...

    Let me share my story:

We got NOA 1 for I-130 on July, 16,

then on July 23 we sent our 129F (really wanting to pursue K3 path).

I was worrying that we have not gotten NOA1 for 129F by now

Almost all people who sent it on the same dates as we are already have it...

Apparently I found out that 129 F was sent to Chicago lock box instead of CSC (where my 130 already was)

by our paralegal who prepared our documents.

I was very upset about it and was ready to refile new package thinking that 129F was lost .

BUT the next morning I got change of status on I130-Approved!!! After about 30 days it was sent???!!!!!

I still can't believe it's possible, and will not until I get the hard copy NOA2!!!

Now I don't know what to do with K3 path...and how to deal with 129 F that I don't even know receipt # of...

Do you think it was approved so fast because we are in process second time around (see my signature for explanations)?

Anyway I am both HAPPY and pazzled....

Good luck to all of us !!!!
