Thank you very much.
I now understand how to count the processing time.
The two dates are the time frame of cases they are between. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
What happened? Yours taking long?

Yes providing shared lease agreement, or shared property ownership or shared mail received on the mail they both reside in. Also same address on both the spouse IDs can prove shared residency. Shared bills and Tax mail can also prove both residency and shared finances
Yea I just told them I never lived with my wife, but we both visited each other.

Hey the timeline is on the pic I posted. And the interview was very awkward lol 😆 they ask so much weird questions and personal stuff and if I had kids and how many. The lady didn't look happy either. Lol 😆 so I was nervous. But she then asked from questions 14 and up on the i485 application.

Congrats and don't die, join the Navy, Chair Force, or the Coast Guard if you can, you still get to naturalize under the military provisions with much less personal risk than the Army or Marines.
Haha nah I am joining army those other branches won't benefit me. But thanks 😊

Haha I wish I knew how to. Because all I keep hearing is that if I wanna find out about my case I have to write ✍️ a ✉️ letter to Vermont service center

Hello VJ family,
Finally, my GC interview is scheduled tomorrow. Could you please guide me on some questions they might ask? Thank you so much!
I filed on Dec 2018 in Seattle
VAWA approved on Aug 2020
GC interview Dec 28, 2021
Your vawa was approved same time as mine. But I had my interview in April of this year. They will only ask you questions that you answered already on the i485 form. They start from questions 14 and up. So just review them and make sure you answer them exactly the same as you put on the application, or they gonna quote you that you said yes to that question when you now changed it to no.

C31 the initial one is free. C31 renewal you have to pay for or get a fee waiver.
C09 initial and renewals are free, unless you got a fee waiver for the I-485, in case of which you need to either pay for renewals or get another fee waiver for each renewal.
Yes, you get to choose if you both have an approved I-360 and a pending I-485.
No. You can divorce or remain married just fine. They might ask questions why you haven't divorced yet but it's more curiosity of the individual IO rather than a matter of eligibility.
Only thing you can't do is re-marry before the I-360 is approved.
hehe heck i was nervous when they asked me about kids part haha. But they said they might send me a RFE or make a decision after the interview. So i'll see what happens, i didnt bring a divorce paper with me to the interview which they asked for it. Guess i didnt anticipate them asking for it.

Thank you for your answer. Will they ask you if you are still married and/or where are you living? Do you need to explain when you are divorcing?
yeah they asked me when i got divorced, and if i was divorced before i filled VAWA. And asked me if i had any kids, which i told them i had 3 kids now after i left my ex.

Wonder why it's taking so long. I hope they respond soon. Cause I had my interview this week, waiting for approval. I hope we all hear something soon. My letter said 90days max, hopefully you hear back soon and positively too
What questions did then ask you? I had kids after my ex. N hehe I hope it is not a bad thing. They asked me about my kids

Just did my interview today. Whew those questions are basically the same on the I-485... only thing I changed was that I now have kids and that I moved, and also that I was denied a visa when I was a kid. But otherwise I don’t think it was that bad. Was a bit intense tho 😬😬. Well let’s see what happens next

Hi everyone!
I have applied for VAWA in March of 2020 (376 days ago) and so far, nothing. No RFE since the prima facie. I submitted a proof of good faith, letters from friends along with the application. Should I be worried?
I have also received my combo card back in September and I am very grateful to be able to work legally. However, I am still stressed.
No you should be fine. Mine was January 2019 and I just finally got a reply which is for green card interview

Good morning everyone:
Can we Vawa filers file for unemployment while waiting for our 485 approval? If yes, would that affect the 485 approval?
Thanks!
Yes sure you can, unemployment works by how much you worked the previous year, so if you put in the hours and stuff last year and year before you can get it. My state wanted me to get it but I chose not to because I immediately found another job as soon as this covid started. Which I now work alone. doesn't affect me. But yes if you meet the requirements for unemployment you can file it. My state (Wisconsin) just needs like you working for more than a quarter.

Guys....... So has this happened to you???
I got another Prima Facie this August and it came from a law firm from another state:(( ANd then I called the law firm why the prima facie came from them because this nevr happened to me before this is the first time this happened that USCIS did this..... And the law firm said that USCIS sent it to them. So that's why they just forwarded to me...... Do you guys have an idea why this is happening??? Has this happened to anyone here??

I have a question for a friend. She filed C31 with her 765 in October 2018. Is it possible for her to now send a new application for C9 or does she have to wait till she gets the C31 as her only option now?
she can apply for a c9 if she want, because she wont get the c31 until her petition is approved.

in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits

Asking the educated people.
It seems people have been making false news about people with a prima facie can't get deported. Is this true? Or false.
If so why could a immigrant who even serve the military get deported but this prima facie person can't?
