Hey everyone, sorry for not updating you guys, so after we requested to reschedule my wife'e appointment due to scheduled delivery (c section) USCIS were surprisingly super nice and very helpful about it, they cancelled the interview in 48 hours and scheduled another one for 3 weeks after the original appointment, so not bad at all. Wife had interview on July 23rd, passed and got her certificate of Naturalization same day, also we had a healthy baby Thank you guys for all the help and support, if anyone ever comes across this post and needs help, please feel free to reach out and i'll be more than happy to assist. 
 

Took the oath on Tuesday and applied for passport the next day. Can't even begin to describe how relieved we are to finally be free of this years long burden.

Finally took my oath today and received my naturalization certificate.

I passed the interview today! I arrived 30 minutes early, but ended up waiting for about an hour and fifteen minutes before the officer called me in. Although I had a pending I-751, the officer informed me that my wife didn’t need to be there. The interview itself was quick—less than 10 minutes. The officer asked the civics questions rapidly, and I answered just as fast. He then reviewed the questions from the N-400 application and told me I was approved. They’ll send the oath ceremony letter within a week. Honestly, it was the most boring interview ever, but I’m definitely not complaining. By the time I got to the parking lot, I saw that my I-751 had been approved, and my N-400 status showed that the oath ceremony will be scheduled soon.

Received my passport today. Applied via expedite at USPS. It took exactly 11 days. 

Just got back from the interview. Civics test and English test was first. No problem there. But then got a bit of an unexpected grilling over finances and taxes (we had filed MFS for a couple of years, filed jointly this year due to a work situation change). They even called my spouse in after the interview (pro tip - take your spouse if applying for marriage based with you even if it’s not a combo interview). Anyway, bit more of an ordeal than we expected to be honest, especially as RoC was approved recently with no interview. 
 
In the end officer seemed satisfied and said he would try and schedule the oath for tomorrow (had to get supervisor clearance), otherwise will just have to wait for tracker to update. Did get the picture taken for the oath after the interview. 
 
Filed office was quiet and no line for security (afternoon interview). Bit disappointed with the uncertainty, but what can you do. Just glad it’s over. 

They had 20 -22. I brought 23 as it wasn’t available when we filed. 

I just got my oath ceremony scheduled 🥳

Interview done. Ran about 30mins late, but was in and out of the interview in less than 15 minutes.
 
My wife came as an n400 through marriage and an outstanding i-751. They said they didn’t need to speak to her.
 
Officer was incredibly friendly. The civics questions were:
 
- who is the President?
- what does the constitution do?
- why does the US flag have 13 stripes?
- name a state that borders Canada
- name a war the US fought in the 1800s
- how many justices are on the Supreme Court?
 
Aside from the standard questions you say no and yes to, I was only asked my name, DOB, if my parents were married before I was 18, my son’s name and my wedding date.
 
I was told that I’d passed the n400 but something needed to be done with outstanding i-751 that would be dealt with by Monday, then I’ll get an Oath Ceremony date.
 

Had my interview earlier.Officer was nice. Everything went well. Got Approved.
Oath scheduled 7/27. 😄

Finally the day has come! Just this morning I got the notification about an action taken on my case and I am scheduled for an Interview in NYC on September 3rd at 1.40. Right after we come back from our trip thank goodness. My biggest fear was possibly having to reschedule this interview and taking forever.

we took our oaths yesterday at a beautiful ceremony in St Paul, MN.
 
we applied for and picked up our passports today. we have international travel coming up in a few weeks and need visas, and were able to use the Urgent process.
 
with this, WE. ARE. DONE!
 
thank you to this group for all the moral support and tracking details you provided. it has been a long, painful and sometimes doubted journey, but we're finally home now.

Hi all, my Oath ceremony took place today in Chicago. It took about 1.5 hour from start to finish. It was a nice ceremony, and the judge gave a speech for about 10 minutes before swearing us in and doing the Oath. Everyone's families were there and it was a joyous moment. Afterward, I went straight to USPS and submitted a passport application with name change. 
 
Feels surreal that I am finally a US citizen!

Hi all, Oath ceremony happened on the 4th of July in Seattle as scheduled. Passport in hand next day at the Seattle Passport Agency.
 
The status online seems to be off, from "We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review." on May 28 to "Certificate Of Naturalization Was Issued" on July 11. Took an extra week to update the conclusion of this whole process. Happy it is all over and wishing you all good luck.

Finally I got scheduled for an interview next month . I filled 2/16/2024 in Desmoine Iowa . 

Not sure if anyone here has Global Entry, but if you need to update your GE after citizenship / name change, you can contact CBP via the portal and send them scans via email. Took them about 2 weeks to process my request but I didn't have to go to the enrollment center.
 
Go to ttp.cbp.dhs.gov At the bottom of the page where it shows CBP Support, click on "For help with Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST" It will open a new page for CBP Customer Service. Click on "Ask A Question" which will bring up a fillable form Under "Topic" choose "Trusted Traveler Programs (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, and FAST)" Under "Applicable Issues", choose "Change my name due to marriage/divorce/legal" Under "TTP Programs", choose "Global Entry" - this includes TSA Pre Check Fill in the rest of the information They'll send you an email requesting documents You can send them the N400 certificate or court order for name change and the US passport

Congratulations! Definitely hoping for same day oath as I need to get passport sorted so I can get back to England asap. 

My interview was just scheduled as well for Aug 14, also at the LA office. Hopefully you (or your spouse) will be able to take the oath on the same day.
