  1. we're gathering all the documents right now, my wife scheduled her medical now and I'm uploading all our recent tax documents to the CEAC website.
  2. @podeena@Machinecorpse62 do we need booster shot for covid? I checked the wilcare website (https://www.wilcare.org/usa/) and it says that we just need 2 doses approved by the fda/who (Moderna, Pfizer, etc.)
  3. Alhumdulilah got our IL @podeena @Machinecorpse62. Interview Date: Oct 31 DQ Dec 7, 2021 -- Auto Expedited for no reason
  4. no update still, I think expedite queue is different than the normal ones. Is FRC needed I thought the nikkah Nama from nadra and religious one should suffice to show marriage?
  5. Alhumdulilah I'm good now, besides updating all the docs that we previously uploaded (e.g. i864, w2, transcript, etc) do we need anything else (maybe whatsApp chats, images, etc.) Do we have a common google sheet with all the docs/requirements for interview that someone might have created before @podeena @Machinecorpse62?
  6. lol, still alive but caught a cold. But to your point no IL. I think they just sent it for Dec 8 Expedited letters. On the other hand I did get a response from the embassy: seems like some basic template to let us know to wait, but they didn't actually answer my question of how it got expedited. Guess just time to wait, Inshallah get something in the coming weeks 🙏
  7. just checked and still nothing, this seems like only dec 8th expedite cases -- I'm dec 7th lol
  8. Nothing as of yet. I emailed the embassy asking for any update on this.
  9. yeah it's just that have to wait, most likely the people that got that expedited letter for dq of 7-9
  10. In the immigrant visa checker it says my case is READY, and when I got to the main ceac website to login it doesn't show anything besides your case has been expedited and posted. So the case is in the ISL embassy, but they just haven't scheduled it yet
  11. checked everywhere didn't get anything. This seems to be similar to other folks who got the expedited email ironically enough that email actually hindered it
  12. @Machinecorpse62 glad you got your IL! And no @podeena didn't receive anything today, inshallah soon.
  13. Just checked, mine says Ready -- not no IL
  14. This might just be some sort of edge case or automated flow because of the massive backlog and don't equate this to the actual ILs. Inshallah they should be moving 3-4 weeks hopefully in the next round to at least complete most of December DQs. I'll update this thread whenever I get my IL and if folks didn't know you can follow this fb page (or insta with same handle) https://www.facebook.com/Pak.USA.Immigration/ given their track record is very solid with updates.
  15. @Machinecorpse62 all the website says is "Case has been expedited to post" and nothing else so hoping to get IL soon.
  16. @Machinecorpse62 I got an "your case has been expedited" email but nothing to do with the actual date itself -- most likely will get it sometime in the coming weeks.
  17. fwiw @Machinecorpse62 I still follow this thread regularly. My wife's DQ is Dec 7, 2021 -- So hopefully comes around next IL rounds (probably end of this month).
  18. The backlog for this isn't that high, you should be getting it in the next couple of weeks. The real wait is after getting documentary qualified (DQ) which is currently around 3 months after you submit (and without hiccups).
  19. Hey folks, Does anyone know if I can travel with my wife after her interview and her passport is at the embassy for approval? My DQ date is in December 2021, and I wanted to travel later this year (but it lines up with her IL timeline), but if possible can I request a new passport if the embassy doesn't give the original one back in time for us to travel? I wanted to book things in advance but wasn't sure. Fwiw I know US citizens are allowed to have 2 passports so wondering if it's the same for paksitan. TIA!
  20. Hey all, quick question for anyone that may know. Do I have to resubmit my AoS (form I-864) again once I get the IL for my wife? I assume they will need the most updated income and address? Both me and my wife moved since we filled it out the first time a couple of years ago and this and the petitioner documents are the only place that require our address. My concern is will they question us given that it changed, and will it overwrite the existing one, or there will be two of them? Thanks!
