Yes, birth certificate with their name was submitted, but it was registered late. DNA test is for mother. Cost is about about $550.  It is taking pretty long time because once they do DNA test in the US, they coordinate with the local embassy. Since embassies are closed, the process is on hold.

Thanks for your response. Hopefully things will return to normal or near normal as possible soon.

After filing the application for my mom, I just got the first Notice. Do we have to wait for a visa number to be available for parents? I thought that was only for brothers.

Your not waiting on a visa number, your waiting for the I-130 to be processed and USCIS to make a decision. If Consular processing, after approval than the case will be sent to the NVC, then US embassy responsible for where your mom currently resides.

Since I Didn’t find any forum for July 2020 filers I am creating one. I filed i130 for my parents on 07/19/2020 and got NOA1 with priority date 07/19/2020. Texas Service Center as per the receipt notice. I hope the COVID-19 and president’s ban won’t negatively affect the processing time.

We are also July 2020 online filers with Texas service center. Waiting impatiently, lol.
