We submitted the AOS, EAD, and AP applications in October. My husband had his biometric appointment in early November. We got an RFE for the AOS application in mid-November. Nothing else since then...still anxiously awaiting the EAD and AP.

So we are in the same boat 😭 I have an offer which I am not able to accept. My tried to expedite my ead but it’s been 25 days and no response.

on the other hand, I see people applying for green card in Jan-feb and already received green card.

Currently I am still waiting for my EAD,AP and AOS Interview. I submitted my docs in sep and got an RFE in december. 

Where are you all at?

Today is the day!Finally got my 3 NOA Receipts+Online Access Code mail+Biometrics appointment scheduled letter. It is on 10/15.I feel like USPS was hoarding them, got it all together today.

my biometrics were scheduled today 🥳. Here is our super quick timeline

package sent - Sep 9

package Delivered- Sep 13

Text notification - Sep 17

status change to biometrics scheduled- Sep 18. 

Got my text message today with case numbers. 
 

can anyone explain what’s next? Also what are access codes I hear people talk about?

I did send through fedex. Our cheque is not cashed yet too.

I sent my package on Sep 9th and it was delivered and signed for on Sep 13th. 

no text message yet. I’m so nervous 🥵

Ours was delivered on Monday and haven’t heard anything yet. 

We didn’t end up send our case yet. Is there a September 2021 AOS filers yet?

In form I -765 ,I have a confusion as to which box to tick in 'Part 1. Reason for Applying'. Previously I was approved of an EAD card based on my F-1 (OPT, student) visa , but I never used that EAD card, and that EAD card is expired now.

Now I am applying for adjustment of status under F2A category, and trying to fill out form I 765 for EAD. My question is, should I tick box 1.a 'Initial permission to accept employment' or box 1.c 'Renewal of my permission to accept employment' ?

Thank you all. I FInally submitted my DS160 and paid the fees. It took me to a page to book Vac appointments - it shows one appoint for mumbai in December! 

Hello all, our case is finally “ready”!! Ofcourse it’s come amidst the lockdown but we are still happy.

Can I submit my DS160 now? or wait for the welcome letter. My concern is if they are not open, will they even send it anytime soon? Also, do you think they can send it to me electronically? 
 

so I’m my mind, my steps are submit DS160, submit fees, keep a lookout for interview dates. Do you think I can complete my medical also now in the meantime, so only the interviews will be left? Am I missing something?

I wanted to create this forum for all of us with similar timelines. 

My first question is that I have my new case number at NVC, can I fill the DS160, pay the fees etc....or do I have to wait for official information from the embassy?

Starting this new forum due to similar timelines. 

So I called the NVC yesterday and they said that our petition is at the NVC currently. They also provided me with a new Case ID and invoice ID. 

I wonder how all it will take to reach the embassy now and for me to get the official notice. 

I am in India, can I go ahead and fill the DS160 form since I have my case number?
