My husband had his interview this past July, so maybe I could be of some help. I think what you have is going to be enough, do you have pics that were taken at your engagement? That will help. We provided them with 7 months of phone records. I have no idea if they actually wanted them or not. I always read that phone records were important, so I made it a point to spend a little more money(with pingo), just to make sure that we had something to show. Sorry I know this doesn't really answer your question.
Everyone's interview is different, and I'm sure if they question you, as to why there are no phone records, you'll have a good enough answer. It cost too much! For example we did not have your #4, 9, 10 or 11. I'm not saying don't provide them, bring every bit of what you have. I was present for my husbands interview, which I thought for our case, helped him a lot. Make sure all the dates and names match on every document. For example, your birth cert. make sure your birthdate matches your passport birthdate and that your name is spelt right on everything. I think you'll be fine. You and your fiance go over the possible questions they may ask you during your interview, those questions really do help. Best wishes

my husband got the first shot before he had his interview to come here and had the second one after he got here. It is the MMR vaccination. measles, mumps, and rubella, she should look at her vaccination card to make sure she had it, because I'm almost positive you have to have it.

when I bought my husbands ticket to come here, I was also told he needed a copy of my ID and the credit card used to purchase the ticket, or he would not be able to get the ticket. After all the hassle of getting it to him, they did not ask for it at the airport. But it is far better for him to have it then not, just in case they do ask for it.

Be careful with this. I think that the answer varies with the embassy.
Although, it states vaccinations are not required for K1, until AOS. It is true, the answer varies with the embassy. My husband was required to get them before the interview, per the embassys instructions. That is in Ghana though. Becareful, if she has to get them there, make sure she tries real hard to get a copy of the vaccination worksheet(and keeps that herself for AOS, not to turn in at interview), has to be signed by a civil surgeon, for AOS purposes. http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/pdf/ti-03/appdx-a_693vacc.pdf
The civil surgeon my husband went to in Ghana, would not give him the form and so that caused a bit of problems when we wanted to get one here in the US for AOS. All of the doctors I called claimed they could not sign the I-693A without perfoming the whole medical exam again. So anyway if she wants to get them there just try to get that form signed, if it were me, I'd bring the form with me to the doctor and insist I need it filled out. I wish you the best.

I wish you the best. Things will work out in your favor. It's good you are there for the interview. Let us know how it turns out.

I wanted to add, in the state of Florida the marriage license expires in 2 months.

I am a resident of Florida and both parties have to be present, show their Id and sign the marriage license. In order to obtain the marriage license.

Good news!
I too got an e-mail today that the packet 3 was mailed to my fiance last week so we are eagerly waiting for it to arrive
Good luck!!
This is great news, I remember the feeling. Though, it's so sad they schedule the interview dates so far away. What your fiance will be looking for in the mail, is a regular sized letter instructing him to come to the embassy to pick up package 3. They don't mail the packages out.

Hi everyone, Im about to send my fiance package off but I have a questions about the I-134 affidavit of support.
1. On the part that says relationship to sponsor where do my dad put there since he will be our co-sponsor?
2. On question 7 where do I put my annual salary do I put my year-to-date that is on my check stubs or w2 or do I put
what my letter of employment says?
3. What about my child support where do I put the income for that do I include it with my annual salary?
Thank you so very much. I hope someone can help me with this.
1. If you read that question real carefully, on I-134, it is asking what is your fiances relationship to the co-sponsor. I had this same question too. Your fiances relationship to your dad is, future son-inlaw. Because question #3 on the I-134 is all about the fiance and it asks, what is his relationship to sponsor.
2. I would put what my w2 said, but for me, my w2 was different then what I was currently making. I wanted my income to be as high as possible, so I put what was on my letter from employer. Which for me, was the most current and there were no issues at interview time. I also provided them with my w2's for interview and they did not want them. Though, they wanted co-sponsors w2's.
3. I don't get childsupport, so I could not add that. I hope someone else knows the answer, because I know you can use it. Probably you'll have to show proof of receiving childsupport at the interview.
I hope this helps!

I wanted to mention my husbands experience of going to labor ready to find work. They made him take a little test on a computer. He said sort of like a survey(does he use drugs, does he have a car, how did he get to the office that day and so on), not a test to see what he knows. The lady told him he's not qualified to work for them and he asked her how is that? She said, I am not the one who makes those decisions, it's our corporate office. She told him not to come back for 12 months to look for work with them. I was so pissed when he told me that, I wanted to go curse the lady out. Because, no offense or anything, but there are many drug addicts that work for them every day, who don't have cars or any job history to brag about. But some honest person looking to work, is turned away. But that's ok because by God's grace he has found a job at the airport. He is supposed to start tomorrow, maybe it's orientation, I don't know, he's just glad to say he's going to work.
I don't understand. You mean he went to the Departmen of Labor to get help finding work and they refused to help him?
I don't think what he went to is called Department of Labor. The company is called Labor Ready, I believe they have it in just about every state. It's a very well known company. Work today, pay today, kind of thing. I hope I answered the question.

Hi VJ's I have a little problem. On my fiance birth certificate they have his mom name Elizabeth but his mom name is Florance. On our I-129F for his mom's name I put Florance name. What do he need to do to correct this problem before the interview? Thank You I hope someone can help me.
Your fiance will have to get a new birth certificate with the name that you have already used on the paper work, which you said is Florance. My fiance is not from Nigeria, though, I think it is the same for all countries. But do it soon, in case you have to wait for it, to make sure you have it in time for the interview. Wishing you the best.

Hello, I bet someone has asked this question before and I am sorry if I am repeating a question. My husband (fiance at the time) had his medicals done in Ghana and was required to have all vaccinations, too. The health clinic would not give him a copy of I-693A, rather just gave him a vaccination card and said the I-693A form is in the sealed envelope, he brought with him to the US. When doing AOS, I have been told to get a copy of I-693A, if it was sent in the brown sealed envelope, why does he have to get it again or who has that stuff that was in the brown envelope, anyway? Would he probably get a RFE for not providing it for AOS? I have called civil surgeons in my area, to get a blood test done to prove he's had the vaccinations and they say it is against their license and they have to do the whole exam again. I am confused and he doesn't need to have the exam done again, but just to prove he had the vaccinations. Please give me some advice, we really want to send in this darn paper work and get it over with.

thanks everyone for the replys, we got married today at the court. They gave us 2 copies of the marriage cert. with the seal. And the lady said this was all they give. Since we got married at the court, they give it to you the same day, no waiting to mail anything. I was unaware. Now we can file AOS, asap.

Thanks so much, so I guess I'll have to wait out a couple weeks for the offical one to come. I will have more time to relax and get all the forms filled. I hope it doesn't take the 30 days though.

Hello all,
I need to know when we send in the papers for AOS. Do we have to wait for the offical copy of the marriage certificate to come in the mail or can we submit a copy of the one that we get the day of the marriage? I was told it takes 30 days to get your offical marriage cert. and don't want to wait that long to do AOS. Thanks for all the help.

I don't see where the I-864 needs to be notarized, but wanted to find out for sure if it needs to be.

Thanks so much Cecy, you've been a great help.

Yes you send them all 4 pages of the affidavit of support.I am wanting to know some of the same questions. Though, I have a couple more to add. My fiance and I do not have any children together and he does not have any of his own. I have children previously and now that we are married, on form I-485, part 3, section B where it asks for husband or wife and children. I will put my name as wife, but do I have to put my kids names as well? Also for wife's family name, do they want my maiden name or now married name?
I also need to know about this A# is it the number on the back of the I-94?
Non-immigrant visa #, where exactly is that located on the visa, or how many numbers is it?
If you are the immigrant yes put the information on all your children.
Do you send all four pages of G-325A?
I should have gave more details, of what I was asking about the children. I am the USC and the children are mine not my husbands. But I was confused if my husband should put my kids on the form, now that they are his step children. I decided to fill the form and not put them on there. If anyone reads this and thinks I am supposed to add my(USC) childrens names on the I-458 form. Let me know, I won't be sending it in yet. I think I've done the right thing by not putting them on the form. Thanks everyone.

thanks for the help, I was able to find the A# and visa #. Filling out the G-325, do they want us to submit 4 copies, like we did with the K-1 petition? Or just 1? If anyone knows the answer to the question I asked about me putting my kids on the I-458 form, is that what I'm supposed to do? Thanks

My fiance had to return DS-230, (part 1) only and the check list. He doesn't have to have everything complete on the check list, but just sign and say you do and he can get it all done before the interview. Remind him to make copies of everything he is going to give to the embassy, including the check list. The day my fiance went to the embassy, he had the DS-230 part 1 already filled out and ready to hand it back to them, but they said he can only return it on a specific day, which I think was a Wednesday. But they will inform him of everything. I hope you guys get a response from them soon. Best wishes, Lisa

I am happy to know everything worked out well. Congratulations.

Almost everyone gets at least 1 drunk driving.
The first one means nothing and is very easy probation, the second one is where it gets to be really difficult, expensive, and annoying, and the third drunk driving, you will be screwed for at least 3 years straight with probation and fines.
I was shocked to read, you think almost everyone gets in trouble for driving drunk, at least one time. I have never done it and it's VERY stupid to do. Drunk drivers kill innocent people all the time. Please, I hope you don't drink and drive still.
