Hi everyone just want to share my update called uscis a week ago spoke with tier 2 told me that my case is transferred to field office ny on May 8 and they will make a decision on our case no more info after that 🤔 any one have a experience about this situation what's next?? What is field office function in this ? it's been 302 days since petition filed 😔.

You must submit I-130a online, there is a section at the end.
beneficiary’s birth certificate is not needed, only the petitioner’s.

You may have to contact the Canada embassy to see if they can issue you a certified birth certificate. If you already are a Canada citizen, they should be able to produce this for you.

Have you thought to find out what documents Canada required for the naturalizaiton?
there could have been a record of your birth filed when you were 8

Likely refugee documents. My friend had similar issue and they took his UN documents.

Right but in the comments it states a different document that can be used to evidence birth, which the OP also doesnt seem to have. OP will still need a document evidencing birth otherwise they will need to give an explanation why the document could not be provided.

But for Afghan births, DOS explicitly says "Not required for IV purposes, see Comments below"
