Algiers posted today that they are resuming the processing of all their backlogged immigrant visas including K1s. They will not take any new ones till the clear their backlog.  I'd recommend you stick it out a bit longer.

Esperemos que nos den cita a todos!! Creo que las visas CR-1 y K-1 tienen prioridad, de turista la verdad la veo complicada en estos tiempos.

I spoke to Senator Wicker (Mississippi) about K1 Visas and specifically the Colombian Embassy, and he said that Embassies in general are supposed to be continuing to process K1s, but after IR1/CR1/other "Mission Critical" visas.  I was told that if we don't receive an update on our case in the next month that I should reach back out to him.

I could just be getting the run around but I'm hopeful that this is good news that the State Department is taking this seriously.  Though they still aren't listed as "mission critical" which is ridiculous to me.

Side note: it seems that the political discussion regarding Student Visas has resulted in the Colombian Embassy deeming them mission critical, which you can see by their social media posts about Student Visas.  Meanwhile, K1s continue to be back of the line... ughh

You are confused. The petition is regarding the travel ban as the April eo doesn't affect k1 visas in any way.

Additionally, the Current Month's VJ member I-129f CSC approvals is at an all time high in regard to number per month, @ 94 to date from June 1st - 26th. I've only looked back as far as mid 2019 but since then until now there has been no other month to even compare to those numbers. So for right now, it looking pretty good. Good luck

All of the USCIS processing center are still processing work.  None of them are closed.
