ArwaE got a reaction from etrangais in AUGUST 2021 NVC SUBMISSIONS
I got this email when they wanted to confirm my joint sponsor...
Check the status of everything...PAID/SUBMITTED
I also got another email when we finished submitting the DS-260

That's my thought exactly! In my case, it wasn't even the tax transcript, just a single 1099 form! Hoping that you also do not have a delay.

I got reviewed on the 17th but it was not good news
They asked for the 2020 transcript from my joint sponsor so to the back of the line I go
I submitted Aug 22

ArwaE got a reaction from Dave Knapp in NVC processing times question (split)
I just saw it...
The NVC gives you a year to submit all your documents on CEAC. Also keep in mind that sometimes people get RFEs and need to resubmit papers.
But usually from NOA2 to DQ depends on how fast you submit your papers to CEAC.
I'll give you an example
We got our NOA2 on May 6th
Our case was created at NVC on May 10th
We uploaded our documents on August 22nd
Now our submission date at NVC is August (not May when the case was created). So the 80~ days you see is from the day you submitted to when you get DQ.
So if you want the gap from the day your case is created to the day you submit your papers to be short, I suggest getting all your documents ready now. Check the country specific civil document requirements, make a checklist of everything you need pertaining to your case, and have them ready to upload as soon as possible.
Also keep in mind that you have to pay the fees first on CEAC and that usually takes about 3-7 days to process.
I hope this answered your question.
PS
The NVC updates their timeframes every week (Mondays mostly) showing which submission dates they reached. Someone posted a link in a previous reply on this thread or just type "NVC Timeframes" on google and it'll most likely be the first result

My submission for the NVC was actually 31 July (not August), however I thought I would post in this topic to let everyone know that I got DQ 8 hours ago (21 October). This will hopefully give everyone some idea of the progress at the NVC. Wishing everyone the best of luck.

That sucks but I hope you can get reviewed again quickly. I saw on a post from a couple of years ago that if you get them on the phone about a week after you submit the RFE they might review it sooner?
It's worth to try out

I just got through after being on hold for 45 minutes, they confirmed my case is DQ'ed and nothing is missing. Nothing I need to do right now except wait for the interview.

Keep trying. I saw a few people say the same thing happened to them but when they called they found out that it was just a glitch in the system and that they were indeed DQ'd. Just keep calling and ask to talk to a supervisor (that's what I heard)

So reading back in a thread of June/July submissions, I noticed that for the most part it was almost 2 months +/- 3 days?
Did anyone else notice this?
Based on this, I'm expecting to hear back anywhere around 19-26 October (so about a week to 10 days from today) since my submission day was August 22.
*fingers crossed*

totally normal, this is what you see when you're at this stage (NVC, docuemnt review), i believe this changes once you get DQ and then important once you have your interview (Refused/AP/Issued)etc....

ArwaE reacted to TGDeano in AUGUST 2021 NVC SUBMISSIONS
Nope not just you. I got the same status even though my documents were submitted back on August 9th. I don’t pay attention to that status link anymore.

ArwaE reacted to Saqib-s in AUGUST 2021 NVC SUBMISSIONS
nope, At the NVC document review stage there is no difference between the two and generally speaking visa category doesn't matter, submission date is the primary factor.
from another thread that someone asked me related question you might find useful:
As far as I've seen there is no difference between if your submission was an original upload or a re-submission after a RFE. The cases all generally get reviewed in order of when they were submitted, though some cases get responses back sooner than others, this may be down to a number of factors, one of which may be that with a re-submission there is usually fewer documents to review, other factors maybe down to complexity of documentation etc. Visa category doesn't seem to be a factor on whether your documents are reviewed before another case of a different category, though the more complex categories may have more complex documents requirements, requiring more time to review.
The primary guide we have is when people report getting reviewed (DQ or RFE), looking at their last submission date and the date of review response. This give us a guide of where the NVC are, give or take a week or two.

ArwaE got a reaction from butterfly28 in JUNE 2021 NVC SUBMISSION
Hey guys
Congrats to all those who got DQ'd! Hoping to hear more good news soon
Anyone know why they haven't updated their timeframe this week? I'm getting anxious
-
ArwaE got a reaction from KKOS in AUGUST 2021 NVC SUBMISSIONS
Very cruel
I've literally been checking the timeframe website every hour since Monday and seeing that "As of 20-SEP" is driving me insane lol
I just want to know if my mid-October expectation is on track or should I move it to late October instead.....
That would be sad T_T
-
ArwaE reacted to TGDeano in AUGUST 2021 NVC SUBMISSIONS
I’ve been wondering the same thing. Last week it didn’t update until Tuesday and now here it is Wednesday - 2 days “late.” This is cruel and unusual punishment lol

I wonder why they haven't updated the timeframe this week. Still stuck on the 20th of September. Anyone know why?? I'm also expecting to hear something mid-October, so starting next week I'm probably gonna start checking ceac almost daily lol
