Congress
Is there a recommendation on this forum on how to go about this? Should I call? Send an email? Both?

Probably which is why you need to get someone to give them a kick.
I've been calling USCIS and CBP. Are you saying I should get a lawyer involved? Or a congressman?

Anybody been given travel authorization a second time after leaving USA?
I'm thinking our travel authorization is delayed because this individual left USA back to Ukraine while on Parole without receiving prior travel authorization. 😢

Anybody been given travel authorization a second time after leaving USA?

How long does it usually take for Travel Group members to receive travel authorization? Travel group leader received his Travel authorization 2 weeks ago. Still waiting on the wife's Travel authorization. These never took longer than 5 days. I contacted USCIS and they weren't much help. Just told me to wait. At least 30 days.
The Travel group member who is still waiting on her authorization is a Ukrainian citizen and already had a USCIS account. When she tried to add a case via a receipt number it said it was already linked to a uscis account. So that's why I added her as a Travel group member and we completed her attestation that way.
Why would this case be stuck at CBP while the travel group leader was approved so quickly? I wonder if this is because she had previously traveled to USA under U4U.

How long does it take for travel group members to get travel authorization approval? The wife of the main beneficiary is still waiting for hers after the husband received his on March 14, 2024 in the Notices tab. Will there be a second authorization document attached under the Notices tab?
To add, this is the 2nd time the wife (Ukrainian citizen) is applying for the U4U program. She was previously admitted 1.5 years ago but had to return home 3 months later. -

3 months?
Took just under 1 month. Just received NOA2 today.
Sorry in advance, I know this has been mentioned before, but if a wife and husband are traveling together, do they have to submit one application via the USCIS website, or 2? Do they both need to make USCIS accounts?

Topic moved from K1 forum to Removal of Conditions on Residency forum.
Yes, it is necessary and required to file for removal of conditions, also known as I-751.
When should it be filed. Is there a guide on this forum I can reference?Never mind, I guess I should have google'd first. The instructions on the USCIS website are pretty clear. https://www.uscis.gov/i-751

Hi!
Is it necessary to re-new the green card of a K1 visa holder (still married)? It expires after 2 years and can only apply for naturalization after 3 years. -
How long is the current processing time from NOA to approval for I-134A for U4U program?

One more question. Once the entry is granted for the beneficiary, how much time do they have to enter the US?
3 months.

If the beneficiary who was granted parole and is already in the US wishes to travel outside the US and come back do they have to file form I-131? About how long does form I-131 take?
-
EDIT: Never mind. This USCIS page has the info.
Can we file form I-765 online? Have to list eligibility category to file online and one of them is "Temporary Protected Status Granted/Pending". After coming to US under the Uniting for Ukraine program does the beneficiary have to file form I-821 (TPS)? Also, can the beneficiary get a waiver for the $410 application fee? -
Avoid LAX if possible. Beneficiary plane landed and finished taxi at 315pm. Got out at 7pm and that was only after saying that she wasn't feeling well. They kept her and a bunch of other parolees (50-80 people) In a locked room, not allowing cell phones. "Interviews" were really slow... I had provided my beneficiary who doesnt speak any english with a statement saying where she will be staying, who will be picking her up, etc. And that seemed like it didn't help ease the process.
Avoid LAX!

Hello
I applied on June 1 to sponsor 2 Ukrainians. I have the confirmation dated June 2, Does the confirmation notice mean I am approved as a sponsor? I ask because the beneficiaries have not had an email and there is not follow up, and Kjcdc090385's posts seem to indicate that the confirmation Notice does not mean I was ok'd as a sponsor. I am contemplating re-applying to get things moving.
...
Have you created a USCIS account for your beneficiaries? Or have they created it for themselves? There they will need to attest to having been vaccinated and what not. There's more steps to complete after your complete I-134. What do the instructions in the confirmation notice say?

Does U4U grant humanitarian parol status? visitukraine.today says Yes. The page says: "... Ukrainians who received or will receive a humanitarian parole into the United States (including participants of the Uniting for Ukraine program - U4U) in the period from February 24, 2022 to September 30, 2023 ... have the right to apply for basic benefits available to refugees during the period of their humanitarian parole " and "Ukrainian humanitarian parolees are eligible to apply for federal mainstream benefits, such as cash assistance through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Supplemental Security Income, health insurance through Medicaid, and food assistance through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)."
Has anybody confirmed this to be true? I'm mostly worried about medical insurance. -
What is the best flight route for somebody to take to get to San Francisco from Ukraine? My beneficiary has no English experience and our current "top" option is for her to travel to Paris where she will stay with a friend and go on a direct flight to SFO. We want to do a direct flight only because of no English.

Submitted the form, created an account for my beneficiary and received a Travel Authorization all on the same day. Pretty crazy if you ask me.

Can the person who receives travel authorization via U4U travel in and out of the US for the 2 years?

My wife wants to bring her mom here from Ukraine for what is planned to be a couple months stay, but that is not set in stone. We just had a kid and need grandma's help. She'll be leaving her husband in Ukraine who cannot leave due to Ukraine not allowing males to leave. The plan is for her to come for at least a couple of months and then reevaluate the situation, most likely returning back to her husband. Our ultimate plan was to immigrate my wife's mom and dad once she lives here for 2 years with the green card. Will this, what is planned to be a "temporary stay" via Uniting for Ukraine, negatively affect our immigration plans?
Also, Uniting for Ukraine mentions "Ukraining citizens displaced due to war". Does grandma have to prove she was displaced? Does this question come up during consulate interview? Is there even an interview prior to the POE?
Has anyone else applied for the Uniting for Ukraine program?
in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus

USCIS agent called me back and said the holdup with CBP is likely because this beneficiary previously broke parole.
My beneficiary was previously paroled into the United States through U4U but had to leave after 3 months to attend to her dying mother. We applied for travel authorization (advanced parole) but it wasn't processed in time, denial came 1.5 years later. We didn't know about the opportunity to apply for emergency advanced parole which has a much quicker response time.
USCIS agent said that the good thing is that she didn't receive a denial from CBP yet. But gave no timetable on when we can expect an answer to be given.
