    Hey everyone! My timeline from NVC to interview below: NOA1: April 19 NOA2: June 28 At NVC: Mid august (exact date unsure) NVC number received: August 30 In transit: Sept. 13 Case ready: Sept. 15 Medical: Sept. 29 Interview: Nov. 10

    We can't book medical yet, but we paid the fee before booking. That's crazy they'll cancel people's interviews. How's the backlog?

    I'm hopeful I get to consulate in the next month. Interview slots are so hard to come by, so I had to grab it while I can.

    I submitted an inquiry July 8 and finally received a response yesterday with my case number.

    The primary focus is on the spousal interviews and clearing that backlog at the moment. November 10 opened last week with about 40 slots and we were able to schedule. You should join Nigeria specific facebook or whatsapp groups where we post open interview dates in real time. Send me a PM if you're interested!

    I'm in an April group on facebook and a good amount of people posted their in transit emails from NVC.

    They've slowly started moving on to June. There's someone tracking in the May group.

    You book the interview yourself. Wait for the communication from consulate to let you know where your case was forwarded.

    Good to see new approvals. I was afraid they'd focus on the RFER before looking at any new cases. Thanks for taking the time to do this!

    At this rate, they'll finish all of May before they finish our 76,500/April 19 group. I saw yesterday it went from 13.5 to 13.

    76500 had 1 approval and 1 withdrawal. Your scan seems to hate my group lol

    I read earlier someone had 2 approval dates because they never received their first letter. That could explain the duplicate.

    Fellow April 19 filer here. We're still waiting as well. A bunch of updates came in today. Even though mine isn't among them, I hope yours is!

    Not every Nigerian is using people for visa. Please stop spreading this false narrative. There's so much negativity against Nigerians on this site.

    OP - don't beat yourself up. There was someone else who posted their fiance also got denied at entry. They asked if he planned on getting married and he said "maybe/maybe not".
