Yes, I agree.. Very confusing and frustrating.. But it appears you can do it at the airport.. Just not sure if you have to have the seminar session completed before you go there or if you can complete it there.

Thank you for the info.. I was reading the part about multiple filer on the application and it appeared to be for restraining orders and criminal convictions.
 
The multiple filer section of the application was Part 3 (5a, 5b,5c and 5d).. None of those appeared to be for my situation, but I will research it more.
 
Application was recieved in January 2018 by USCIS
 
We were approved and she arrived with me in Miami January 2019
 
Married - February 2019
 
Filed for divorce - January 2020
 
Divorce Final - May 2020

Yes, I understand.. But there is a application we need to fill out for a search that the state of Michigan will conduct.. 
 
I was trying to figure out wich years I need to request them to search..  Because there is a fee for every year that I request them to search.
 
Do you know which years I need to have them search? Is it the years I was not married or the years I was married or just the current year that we are in to show that I am not currently married?

I wrote to them today.. I will take this response from them with us to the interview. Thanks again for helping us with this information

Yes, that why I could not apply for adjustment of status.. After I found out about her other relationship she never came back. She kept prolonging signing the divorce papers because she thought she might be deported if she was divorced.. Thats why it took some time to finalize the divorce. I am not sure what her plan is now to try to get a green card.
 
All I can do is tell the truth and explain the situation to people at the interview.. There is nothing to hide.

Thank you. She has moved to Miami and has not asked for nor will she ever ask for support...  I am not sure what process she will take to try to adjust her status and become a citizen.. It will be very difficult for her, we were not together long enough to apply for adjustment of status.. I can only wish her the best at this point.
