Yea, booked straight with BA so definitely legit. But I'm glad to hear that, so I'm sure it'll be straightforward then!

I see that BA are only restarting in May. There are plenty of 3rd party booking sites that do sell “ghost” flights that are not on the official airline books but on the “ planning table”. Plenty of travellers during covid affected years have been caught out. Booking only with the airline is safest.
Nashville is sporting a brand new international terminal .. very few arrivals .. so i expect your POE experience will be easy and pleasant. Direct is very nice !

No issues. Her passport just proved she is a US citizen. A new passport wouldn’t change that fact or your case.

I have heard USCIS picks random cases to give them RFE, you never know what USCIS looks for or does.

We got approved with just a letter from me telling our story, passport stamps, pictures and of course the marriage certificate (we have a lawyer). Like the other visa journey members said, its up to your discretion.

That is such great news to hear, and yes we must use whatever means that are available to us.  It is a chance that we must take, in order to be approved, because without nothing at all, we will get NOTHING AT ALL!  That’s why, I could not understand the statement made about the appearance of desperation, it is more of a put down, rather than a tool used to assist our fellow members throughout their individual journeys.  And besides, the government would never suggest us submitting forms of evidence, that they will only frown upon in the end.  Seems to me, that it appears to seem desperate to the individual, NOT the UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT.  Congratulations, and continued success throughout your life’s journey, with immigration, and going forward.❤️

We are using a joint sponsor who currently makes sufficient overly the 125% over the poverty line requirement, so from what we've read this should be okay. Rather than her return early and get a job.

She still pays US taxes, and has a bank account open there which she utilises pretty frequently. She's only on a temporary visa for here in the UK, so we should be able to prove okay that the desire is to move back to the states and set up shop there.

    This is helpful, thank you.

I understand this, and was using as short hand. AS the ultimate goal is to have the green card, and the I-130 is the first step in achieving this. And of course we've got more reading to do regarding study guides and instructions etc. We've only just started the process! Please only respond with helpful, and constructive comments in future.
