The reason is because I already did Biometric for 751 in March of 2022.
I looked up my case today and saw the notice online.

Yeah. Not to worry. USCIS is random. Good thing is that ur case is progressing. I said random becuase our i751 have been pending from more than one year, where some people have i751 approved in 4 months...so its so random but nothing to worry.

I received a Biometric appointment for N400. Is this normal with a pending 751?
Its normal...why it would not be....how did you get this notice..by mail or online in uscis account? What adresses do u have on ur receipt notices of i751 nd n400? Are they both different addresses?

N400. My I751 is at the National Benefits center.
Edit to say, that National Benefits center is the same as the Missouri center. My case number for I751 starts with MSC.
I thought they have national benefits center at differrnt locations. Like my I751 starts with MSC is at NBC Lee's Summit MO(Missouri) and N400 is at NBC overland park KS(Kansas). That what my i751 and n400 receipt notices show.

After applying N400, we receive receipt notice. It has address at the bottom. Is it same for all of us who apply online or different for everybody based on where we live. I live in Columbus OHIO and receipt notice shows the adress as -: National Benefits Center
U.S. CITIZENSHIP & IMMIGRATION SVC
P.O. BOX 25920

I just received an email from USCIS that they have taken action on my case. When I log in I can't find anything new updated. Where should I look?
I got the same thing. Applied on 23rd jan 2023. Got receipt notice right away. Then, two days in a row(24th and today 25th) I receive emails from uscis about some action taken. But, I m sure its not approval(not without interview and when its not even 3 year completion of my green card as I applied 90 days earlier). Its just when they are doing something on the file at the back end of the system.

Did you file for ROC?
And tax returns are not mandatory for applying, so you can just go ahead and apply with the taxes you have and then take 2022 to the interview
Yup. Filed i751 in jan 2022. Its pending and I m ready to file N400 only document I m missing is 2022 tax return because I am still waiting for some of my tax documents from apps like webull, fidelity. Once I get my tax documents from my stocks apps, I will file the taxes right away but I will delay my N400 by atleast one month.

What’s the basis of your green card?
What date did you get your green card?
Married to US citizen. Got green card april 2020.

The deadline to file taxes is April 15th every year. So if you file before April 15th technically 2022 are not mandatory, and the last three years of your tax returns would be 2021, 2020, 2019.
Im planning to submit in early February and probably won’t have my 2022 tax return, but I’ll bring them to the interview.Ohhh I got it now. I cant do that because I moved to USA in 2020 so I will only have 3 years tax return if I file 2022 tax before I apply N400. I was thinking to apply N400 with only two rax returns and then go to the interview with all three years tax return but no sure if I should go with this plan or just apply after I do my tax return for 2022.

The N-400 ask for the last three years of tax returns point blank! Provided you owe no taxes to IRS (you paid right away) or you have a refund coming IRS says it takes about 4 to 6 weeks to get your transcript. My experience has been less than 4 weeks I've got my transcript. If you have unpaid or you owe taxes, transcripts will not be issued until you square with IRS.
Yeah. Because username "rearviewmirror" said that we can just attach 2 years transcripts if we dont have the one for the 3rd year nd apply for N400, and when go to the interview, get the 2022 tax transcript with u. I just got confused.

You can also file without it I believe, and then just bring it to your N400 interview.
Are u sure about it or just guessing...like i can skip attaching my 2022 tax return to my n400 form? I am asking Because if i wait for filing 2022 tax return, it would delay me for another 30 to 40 days.

Thank you so much for the tip!! Yes I have already been uploading some documents to my Drive, such as IRS tax returns.
My window opens on January 29th. However I’m thinking of waiting to submit to have our 2022 taxes, although not mandatory.
So far we have:joint deed
joint taxes
Joint health insurance x2
joint car insurance x2
joint utility bills
joint bank statements
Letter requesting combo interview
We will file by mail. I have a stepson (he’s a USC) and my understanding is that the online system doesn’t distinguish between step and bio kids and I’d have to upload his BC. I don’t want to do that.
Bey Rocio0010. Could you please eslxplain what do you mean when u said that u r waiting to file tax return 2022 but its not MANDATORY? I am eligible to file N400 on 20th jan but I also have to wait for filing 2022 taxes. Do we not have to wait for that? Because as far as i know, we need last 3 years tax return? Or i m missing something?

Bank statements, Insurances, utility bills, front and back GC, taxes 3 years worth (transcripts), NOA for I -751, BC for spouse citizen, divorce decrees if applicable, children's BCs of NON US citizen (even though they are grown and on their own), mortgage statement letter explaining why non US citizen is not on deed and letter requesting a combo interview. Be advised bank statements and utility bills are dated from ROC submission date to submission date of N400. We will handcarry all documents to the interview dated from N400 submission to interview date and prior. Easy uploads just time consuming.
I recommend you scan ALL documents beforehand and store on your pc in one folder so you know where they are. Makes an orderly upload.
Hey Sarge2155. Could you please tell me how long does it take for IRS website to upload the transcript of your tax return. My window starts on 20th jan 2023. I will be filing my tax in feb 2023 so I will have to wait one more month to file N400 as I am still waiting for some tax documents to be arrived by mail or online. I am scared that IRS will take months to upload it once I file the tax return. If thats the case, Can i just upload the tax file return copy from my accountant? Please advise

Hi guys
Could someone please guide me. I have been trying to find the info about if the new delhi embassy is open to process b1/b2 visa or they are not doing any processing for tourist visas. If i fill ds160 form, will I be able to take an appointment? Are appointments available? Is there any ban in place for tourist visas? Thanks

5 months? If it pass 120 days then u definitely need to call uscis. In that case they will expedite your greencard . technically you did pay for it after all .
I have filed an inquiry. They told me to wait for 30 days to get a response. 30 days will be completed 2 days after tomorrow but still no response yet. After 30 days, I can make another inquiry and this process will go on like 4ever as USCIS does not care. They just ask you to wait. What is the meaning of normal processing time if I still have to wait...bullshit

yes, i did. here’s my timeline:
POE: 03/03/2020
Card in production: 08/17/2020 (after two inquiries)
Card mailed: 09/03/2020
Card received: 09/08/2020I had to make two inquiries. The first inquiry was as soon as my 120 days were up, and i didn’t receive any response for it, it wasn’t even assigned to someone, so I had to make another inquiry 30 days later. I used Emma to talk to a representative who made the inquiries for me, because when I tried to do them on my own, the system didn’t let me.
How you used emma to talk to representative...it only gives me general info....does not helpt me to connect to anybody...can u help plss..what should i write to emma so that she connects me to someone
