  1. I am not sure on how to transfer it you might have to call NVC. I checked and it seems like amsterdam embassy is only taking 1-2.5 months for interview so by the time you transfer your case and receive interview this will probably save you 7 months than waiting for islamabad embassy.
  2. I would prefer going to the karachi consulate but since you already have interview scheduled at islamabad than i guess its to late for that, good luck let me know if you have any questions.
  3. Islamabad is currently giving interviews for people who were DQd on Oct 13, 2021 and these people are having their interviews on Aug 28, 2023. You can transfer your case to amsterdam if your husband is a permanent resident of amsterdam. Since your husband DQ is Aug 2022 you would have to wait until atleast another 10 months for your interview. I would recommend transering case to amsterdam it might save you 5-7 months.
  4. Hi i did CRBA for my son at the karachi like 10 months ago and these were the document i submitted - Last 4 years of tax transcripts -last 7 years of school -all of mine and my wifes nikah nama - my sons pakistan birth certificate and hospital birth certificate - 2 passports size photos of my son - completed application of ds-2029 -completed application of ds-11 -my wifes pakistan ID and passport -215$ is the CRBA fee And also in your case since you were divorced you would have to give them your divorce certificate. You also NEED 5 YEARS of US presence and at least 2 if these years have to be after age 14, you can submit irs transcripts, school/college transcripts, old passports, and pay stubs from your work. I would recommend you go to Karachi for the CRBA it is much faster to get an appointment there, when i applied for my son i received his USA passport and CRBA in 3 weeks.
  5. embassy only sends out interviews once a month so you have to wait next month .
  6. The more evidence you give the better! I plan on doing same thing.
  7. These are not cases at the embassy these are cases at USCIS like when your wifes i130 is with uscis these are those cases.
  8. It is i agree india which has 7x more population than pakistan is only taking 4-5 months for interview yet somehow pakistan is taking 20-22 months for interview. They are going faster now however i think for new people it would be 16-18 months instead of 20-22 months. I believe by summer 2024 the backlong will clear and than it will go back to its usual timing of 2 months wait for interview.
  9. Yes Inshallah but the embassy is going faster hopefully they keep it up though.
  10. Inshallah sister i hope for the best for all of us, my wifes been waiting since Feb 2022 for her interview and she still wont get it until at least November 2023. But yes all we can do is pray for the best.
  11. But my income doesnt meet the income requirements so i would need a joint sponsor what is the point of my income needed, i never heard of this in my life i know about 20 people that came to USA from pakistan and they never even showed their income because they had a joint sponsor. And no my son has a USA passport so hes not part of my wifes case at all my son can even come tomorrow to the USA, but yes i might have to fill out new ds260 before my wifes interview.
  12. Yes but is it fine that i can have a joint sponsor because my income no longer meets the requirements, i didnt know my US citizen son born in Pakistan living with my wife counts as a household member on my AOS even though i never claimed him on my taxes ( he doesnt have a SSN, hes only 7 months old)
  13. Hey podeena, quick question i will have a joint sponsor for my AOS because my income doesnt qualify for my wife and child , and my joint sponsor only has enough income for 2021, 2022 and i know AOS only requires 1 year income proof (NVC website), but will there be a problem because now im not the sponsor anymore but i will have a new joint sponsor, thank you.
  14. No sorry but i doubt you will get your interview in december, i would say fastest you would get your interview would March-April 2024.
  15. Yes my son was born in 2022 but he was born in november and by the time i got back to the usa it was december there was no time for me to get him a SSN because i only had 1 month. Also my tax guy told me i couldnt claim my son because he didnt have a SSN in 2022.
  16. Yes 3 years ik but why should i do that? I cant claim my son anyways
  17. Sorry confused why should i do that? I cant claim my son anyways its too late for that so why would i do that?
  18. Thank you Sir you really are the best, thanks for the help and time.👍
  19. So the embassy wont mind if i get a joint sponsor than? Thank you Sir.
  20. Even if i didnt claim him on my 2022 taxes? He doesnt have a SSN so i couldnt claim him on my taxes, so in this case what would i do? I met thr income requirements for my wife in 2020,2021, but not 2022 because of my child. So would i get a new sponsor now? Or joint sponsor? Thank you Sir. Thank you so much now im worried😪
  21. Wait what so my son does count on my AOS? but he is not immigrating to the USA, he already has his USA passport, are you sure he is part of my AOS??
  22. Hello everyone i have a quick question that i need help on, so basically my wife will have interview in max 4-6 month for her IR1 visa at the embassy in pakistan and i already submitted the affidavit of support (AOS), however we know have a son and he already has his USA passport from the embassy in pakistan, so would he count as a person on my AOS or no? I think only my wife counts as part of the AOS, please correct me if im wrong. Im asking because i might need a joint sponsor if my son also has to be included in my AOS and i dont want anymore delays me and my wife have already been waiting almost 4 years, thanks for the help everyone. @pushbrk
  23. Does anyone think that the embassy will continue to keep going fast on the interview letters? My wifes DQ is feb 2022 and im hoping she will get interview in november, ik islamabad is currently doing DQs of Sep 2021. IA hope everything goes well for all of us.
  24. @SaltyCaptain592 hi i applied for my pakistani wife also and it will take USCIS atleast 1-1.5 years to approve your wifes USCIS case and than it is sent to NVC , usually within couple of days and than it will be at NVC for atleast 2-4 month, and than your wife will have to wait for her interview in islamabad, which is currently taking 22 months, however by the time your wife is done with USCIS and NVC, the backlog at islamabad embaasy will be better it is already getting alot better in the last 2 months, so by the time your wife case is at the islamabad embassy it will take at least 9months- 1 year for interview, so in total you will be looking at least 3 years basically. Source me and 10000 other pakistani people on this website and facebook. Just my wife has been waiting for 16 months for her islamabad interview. So sorry but atleast 3 years for sure.
