dude it’s been over 2 weeks I haven’t heard anything back since they changed my creation date and from immigrant to non immigrant.

Sit tight .. you are in the same boat my friend from Delhi was  .. it took hers at least 3 weeks after the change...

she was worried like you .. later it went to issued she didn’t even know ... don’t worry ..

  2. My fiancé received the passport with the visa today K1 also her friend received too at the same time. Both are K1 and none are mission critical. On her friend's passport it said at the bottom says:

*Exception under pp on risk to labor market
on My fiancé passport it doesn’t say anything like that .. can she still fly to the US ?
    I emailed ustraveldocs to confirm

    this is what they said

We confirm that you do not need that annotation on your visa.

can I travel to the US ? I am afraid

Hi how long it took after 2nd interview to get your visa and did your creation date change because mine changed. One more question in regards of status did things change like ap or other stuff.

We only had one interview in Dec 12 or 13, 2019, we were given 221g for additional docx, which we submitted Dec 23. Case created was Dec 30, 2019.
fed 2020 case went to application received and stuck there till March 20. Consulate closed .
Case status went to refused .received letter to submit new pcc and medical. Sent all nov 23. Case was still at refused.

Dec 02, 2020 case went to issued

K1s are not a part of any proclamation as far as I know, so I don't understand why that would need to be specified on the visa. As long as she has a valid k visa there's no reason for an airline not to let her board. Because K1s can't work anyway until they receive a permit for that, so it's obvious that they're not a risk to the labor market in US, unlike the spouse, who can work immediately. So she should be fine. They issued the visa, means, she's ready to use it.

I’m still nervous to why they issued two diff k 1 visas to non mission critical ... I’m afraid to head to the airport ...

    thanks anyways

Did they only take your missing documents or you did a new interview. I had a 221g for missing police certificate nothing more.

Missing documents with passport , later after 11 months cause of the pandemic they returned the passport and requested a new pcc and medical with passport. Submitted all docs at vfs Nov 23, 2020 and visa issued Dec 02

Can anyone call +91 120 484 4644 this number. This was provided to me by Mumbai Consulate to get visa status. Whenever I call it from US it says I have low balance or an automated machine says something in Marathi.

Best of luck if you can find some to talk to.
I called this number all day .. and finally the second day I got someone and they will tell you to send your queries to

ustraveldocs.in ...I went through what you going through

email them you will get there..

Be sure you have checked over the visa to be insure there isn't any spelling errors. If there are any errors, contact the Embassy for further instructions. Keep the "do not open" pouch in the plastic and stowed away in her carryon luggage. Luggage does get lost and without the "do not open" packet it will be a difficult problem for her at immigration once she arrives at her POE.

    Thank you so much

No updates or movement so far .. I did hear that they are finishing up mission critical and pending workload with minimum staff .. sept 15 is when they start with k 1 .. they will finish up with the passports they holding on to before they start with new cases that’s including all 221g cases

Hmm.. I got question to ask.. when you redone your PCC did they issue at passport office or did they send it your house? Your current address and passport address are same??

The pcc was redone on the 29th oct and the medical was done around the 6th nov . They will send it to the house or if the delivery can’t , we will have to go to the blue dart office when they call us . It’s close to the house ... just got a message the passport is getting ready for delivery

Hi everyone. My fiancé was granted permission to come to the US from el Salvador in July. When he arrived to the airport in El Salvador and passed through immigration, they detained him and put him in jail for one week for an outstanding balance on a loan. It’s not been easy, but emotions aside — has anyone had something similar happen?

We were told to send back the passport to the embassy while they review our case all over again. It is no longer on his record, as he went to court and paid a lawyer. But will this disqualify us from getting our visa? How long will this process take? They keep telling us to wait.

Thanks in advance for any helpful and kind comments and advise. Good luck to you all.

    Outstanding balance on a loan??
I have an outstanding balance on all my loans and I got approved all the way.. has to be something other than a loan ..

has to be a warrant on something else ..

That's good... it's really strange they have sent back you, as if they dont coordinate with each other!. You sent email to support-india??

    Yes ! Twice

this guys at vfs can’t read .. that’s the problem there.. they eat tobacco come out and spit and go back and that’s how they mess up in there !! We had to argue there making sure they can understand Instructions from the consulate !!
