Hi everyone! So since June 8th (the date of my interview) I have only seen the "as of June 8th your case is actively being reviewed by USCIS" message, and then today after 5 weeks it changed to "as of June 16th your case is actively being reviewed by USCIS ". Has this happened to anybody? If so, any tips or thoughts?

Few reasons why they didnt say approved on the spot:
background check not completed
medical was just submitted during interview
mine was the latter… don’t worry about it.
I thank you so much for such a clear answer, I actually submitted my medical during the interview cause the one I did for my k1 had already expired, also the scanner didn't like us cause it stopped working just when she was trying to upload my medical so she said would have someone from tech support to fix it and submit it either yesterday or today lol, I was under the impression you get a final decision on the spot, as a lot of people have been reporting so in this site, I'll update once I get any notification. Thanks everybody for your positive thoughts and sharing your experiences

Hi everyone! So we got our interview this morning, most questions were made to my wife, the US citizen, only a couple and easy questions for me, the officer focused a lot on the fact that my wife became a US citizen through naturalization on May 2019 and she petioned for me on November 2019 😑, we had a 3 years relationship already by then and 2 years engaged, plus if you're in love and want to be with your loved one you don't wanna wait for anything, so she stated at the end our case will be under review but what's kinda tricky is that she said "I can't tell you when exactly your green card will arrive but I do know it'll be valid for 2 years since you've been married for less than one year, make sure you apply for a renewal 90 days before this one expires, if by then you two are still married and it's been over 3 years of marriage just go straight for your citizenship instead of greencard renewal" she then handed me a sheet that states our case is under review, it makes no sense tho, if me as an officer am thinking this may not be a truthful marriage I would've asked more personal questions rather than all questions she made, they were too general

Sorry about your mom, sucks to be in this situation. Try checking the USCIS portal. There will be a notice under the 765 section. Is it named standalone or combo card? That should give you an idea.
Thank you so much, you were on point, sadly it is a standalone card, hopefully I hear back soon on the other

Hey everyone! So I just checked my case today, am still waiting for an interview at Fort Myers, my EA was just approved today and they're issuing my card now, I'm most worried about the AP cause my mom has been sick and really need to travel, I see no change on its status though, makes me think this is not a combo card anymore, is it?

We all well deserve some good news. Been waiting since September last year. I know patience is needed bu life kind of stops without these things i.e. EAD, Travel Permit. They should speed EAD and Travel bits if GC must need time to process.
I agree, that green check means a lot you people so I encourage you to check it every now and then, now I'm just waiting for a status change, not sure how long it takes for Fort Myers to schedule such appointment but am keeping all my fingers crossed

RFE was generic, we signed it and we make way way more than the requirement. I watched on youtube an attorney filling the forrm and I can't think of anything. So I guess I will have to resubmit it as it is....
I got exactly the same one and my lawyer said since you may have already filed 2021 taxes (or you must have) you need to present the most recent tax return which are those, don't panic, my state says my response to rfe has been received but it's only been a few days since I sent everything they needed, I decided to send job verification letters this time as well as one year bank account statements, you may wanna do that too

Was your wife's current annual income (so the most recent year) above the 125%?
On last tax year 30,687; no tax amount for this tax year yet, we'll do them this weekend, would it be a good idea to upload those too? She's in the 43,000's on them

I just went through the tiff files and don't see our Affidavit of Support, omg, it used to be there cause when they uploaded everything I remember checking even 3 times and I know everything was there, on the RFIE notice they do refer to our 864 form, name of my wife is correct so i guess they have it, I just don't know if I really need a co sponsor cause what she's made in last few years is way over the 125% they require
-
Morning you all, I hope someone can take a look into my RFIE and just confirm I'm getting this right:
They're saying
1-Based on the documents submitted, we could not determine that the petitioning sponsor, xxxx, on Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, is qualified. In order to be a qualified sponsor, the petitioning sponsor's Form I-864 must be properly completed and signed, and the supporting documents must establish that the petitioning sponsor's income meets 125 percent (100 percent if military) of the federal poverty guideline for the sponsor’s household size.
My wife's total income as stated on her 1040 form sums 100k in the last 3 tax years, let's say 30 thousand per year, if by 2020 the 125% federal poverty guideline was 21,550 by 2021 was 21,775 for 2 people, (cause it's only me and her) and for 2022 is 18,310, what's the issue? I don't get this part, form IS dated and signed by her
2- You must submit evidence to establish that the petitioner on Form I-130, xxxx, is a United States citizen
this is clearly and oversight cause her US passport is in our online account
3- Submit the marriage certificate for the marriage of the USC petitionerAfter marriage I was sent by mail a certified copy of our marriage license with our signatures, our witnesses', deputy's seal and signature, down bellow it says marriage certificate, we sent that, here in FL marriage certificate per se is only issued 3 months after marriage, they can issue it right now but back then I had to use what I was given since I didn't have choice
Please enlighten me

Go to https://my.uscis.gov/ and sign up for an account.
The RFE should be uploaded in the documents tab of your case. (Under My Account > Home)
You da best! Maybe the letter is not ready yet to show online, last thing I see is my bio appointment
-
So after 3 months, since my biometrics, of complete silence an RFIE was issued today, was wondering if anyone could kindly explain how to see such letter online before it gets here by mail, thanks and my apologies if this is a repetitive question

Same here. Been 2 months and when I checked with Emma, the case is still at NBC. Lawrence MA field office.
Worst of all is that I really want to have the ability to travel if my mom gets sick or anything worse, you never know with this whole pandemic craziness happening
-
Trying to stay neutral on this but it'll be 3 months for me by the end of this month since biometrics, just out of curiosity I contacted USCIS and learned my file is still at the NBC and my field office is Fort Myers, no time frame as of how long til it gets to Fort Myers tho

@ltlbnna Oh! You didn't file medical with your application?
I filed the whole thing together including medical because USCIS had also extended medical validity to 4 years and recommended to submit I 693 with application.
@boy2aman My application is still with NBC when I checked with Emma yesterday.
One good thing about family based GC is that many times case is adjudicated at NBC itself without it going to local FO.
In many parents cases, interview is waived off.
What question do you exactly ask Emma? My case status says it's still under review, which I'm ok with, but wanna know where it is

https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-a-uscis-office/field-offices
Scroll down to the bottom and put your ZIP Code inShows Fort Myers here but such offices doesn't show on this matrix above however uscis site states 10 to 24 months for whole AOS process
-
How would I know which AOS office is working on mine? my NOA1 says NBC, I did my fingerprints in Fort Myers tho, I currently live in Naples and there are a couple of AOS offices near me, so not sure

Hi everyone! I'd like to get a second opinion, turns out I recently got my social security card but at the time I sent my application I didn't know whether I'd get one or not, should I upload my card now that I have it on me?
