Have you received and update?

have you heard anything?

as an example, approval on 12/31, card produced on 1/9, and USPS says I'm expected to receive it today in the mail.

I think this is the longest it should be due to holidays and weather delays.

wanted to update on here.

I rescheduled biometrics from 1/17 to 12/31

today 1/1, I got email that case has been updated, went to check USCIS portal, and saw 765 was approved, with approval date of 1/2, but the EAD effective date of 12/31.

Thank you again for walking me through the steps of rescheduling biometrics and as October filers, I hope we all get EADs soon, if not already.

In case anyone needs to do this.... Our status changed to "Biometrics Appointment Was Scheduled" on Friday. Within an hour we were able to see the appointment letter in the Documents tab online. We saw that it was scheduled for 01/07/2025. This was a problem as Jaycel doesn't have her driver license yet and I have work that day with meetings that would have been difficult to get out of. So we went to the online portal and under "My Account" there is a link for "Reschedule Biometrics Appointment". We went there and selected the reason for the reschedule request, put in the receipt #, the date of the original appointment, the service center and her DOB. It then gave various available dates to reschedule and when you select one, it gives the times available that day. We selected 12/26 and there were like 8 slots open that day. Once we submitted it, we got the email that "An Action Has Been Taken on Your Case". Our case status updated that Biometrics Appointment was scheduled on December 24. 2024 and about 15 minutes later we received another email that "An Action Has Been Taken on Your Case" and this was the completion of the reschedule and the notice was available for download. Be aware, you have to go back into the "Reschedule Biometrics Appointment" and look under "View Submitted Requests" in order to get the new notice. So far it has not shown up in the regular "Documents" tab.

the regular appointment was 4 weeks away, we were able to schedule it for tomorrow for my father.

I'm heading to a Caribbean trip next week and then go back to work, so getting this done during the slow/holiday period is great, especially since we've been waiting since October.

Finally got status update that biometrics was scheduled.. still waiting for actual document to show up for date

which now has 426 case received status 

im filing for my dad and one of those are my dads case.

im so annoyed but just disappointed that all these thousands of cases in this block have had biometrics and not ours.

I’m got a not so great status as of now.

USCIS received case Oct 21

I got notices 14 November 

since then nothing

no update for biometrics no RFE

chat just says it’s at national benefits center.

USC Child applying for Mother, with misrepresentation waiver (601) submitted.

Interview complete - pending decision. (St. Louis)

EB-1C (IN) submitted to NBC. FO - Raleigh, NC.

Looks like the interview was waived. I-765 was submitted separately in Oct 2020 and EAD was received in March 2021.

January 19, 2021 The fingerprints relating to your Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, were taken.

October 3, 2020 We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case.

September 4, 2020 We received your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.

It was update in online status and a mail came.

Submitted in Sept. waived biometrics, not other changes

Filed a name change on passport, shipped on 12/1 they received and got into system on 12/21.

I need to apply for Renunciation and OCI, but saw this on the website - anyone know if we should hold off on applying right now?

CKGS contract with the Government of India is ending on October 31st, 2020. Thus, applicants only with the compelling reason are requested to contact the Indian Mission/post directly to apply for the Indian Passport, OCI, Renunciation, and Indian Visa.

CKGS website will not allow applicants to fill out any new application, w.e.f. October 14th, 2020 at 5pm EST.

I'd like to know any useful information you can provide about supporting renunciation of US Citizenship as well as getting OCI.

good thing your naturalization document didn't get lost! Passport is much easier to replace

finally approved in NO, submitted Aug 11. Should receive PP and card on Oct-8

Yes. Since June 11 we have published U.S. passport statistics every Thursday in the table below. The statistics show our weekly progress while we were unable to offer processing times. Our October 1st update will be our last weekly update since we can now offer routine and expedited service commitments. You can continue to find annual statistics on our Reports and Statistics page.

expedited processing is now available?

still no update from NO office, application submitted on 11-Aug.

If anyone else has application in NO office please let me know.

Sidenote - I did contact senator and they are willing to help, but I didn't really have a good reason other than it's been close to 2 months and will probably be another 2 months before NO application processes it.
