awesome i really appreciate the replies and info..id rather do all at once than have her go back and forth a lot.shes already going to be getting new NBi and police clearance and then print out the documents she needs plus the passport photos and such for her medical.hopefully next week i can have her go out and take her medical..thank you everyone for replying and all info has been a big help..not that i see what needs to be done.this process is so much easier than the rest.

You can bring the documentation from your marriage to the NSO office yourselves, and they will register it. There's no need to wait.

The 6 month period to wait for the marriage certificate to be registered on the NSO is mandatory. The one that you guys have is the marriage certificate you both signed during the civil/church wedding whichever case and that one is the one forwarded to the local civil registrar where you got married. The local civil registrar is the one to forward your marriage entry to the NSO office. HOWEVER, you may do so too but this won't give you an edge or an expedite. When NSO says it is going to be 6 months, it definitely is. The one you're holding right now is okay to send when you first file the petition I-130 IR-1/CR-1 HOWEVER, the NSO copy will be needed after you get approval and your case will be at the NVC stage.
