im trying to get my dad and step mom to fill out the forms for their taxes..i864 and i864a...we run into getting my step moms previous tax info when they both filled together so my step mom did not get a 1040ez..my dad alone makes enough money to sponsor my wife but since they did taxes together then im assuming we have to get my step mom to do it..i wanted my dad to do it alone but we arent sure so added her anyways..shes stubborn and having a hard time getting things done and we dont know what her taxes where the previous years..

am i able to just have my dad do it even though they both filled taxes together but he alone meets the requirements or does she have to do it also because they did joint taxes?also how are we suppose to fill in something we dont know and dont have?my wife did her interview.they just want any sponsor because i didnt make enough last year even though i make more than enough now.

Hi have you submitted your docs yet. If yes how long before you got back a reply from the embassy. We had the same problem husband makes enough now but not in previous year.
