Good morning family!! I am so excited today!! I check the website and saw this!! Let my husband and I journey give you hope. We were one of the first interviews since the ban, we did not file any paperwork regarding a waiver, it was automatically considered and a week exactly after our interview, it says his visa has been issued!! Oh, God is so real!!!

Hi everyone, so I posted my concerns a couple of weeks ago regarding the delay in my green card.

    Great news. It arrived today.

If you have not received your card after the "over 120days" statement.

I strongly advice you call your Senators office.

Mine (Maryland ) was so helpful.

In two weeks I recieved mine.

By law the USCIS is expected to reply to the Senate office regarding their constitutes.

Also get a drafted letter ready and other documents.

Feel free to ask further questions.

This group has been a bliss.

I appreciate the day I bumped into this group so il willingly aid as many as.

Asking on behalf  of Nigerians, if someone has interview on Friday which is the last day before the ban, will it affect issuing their visa?

Hard to tell what the outcome might be...but anyone in this situation should keep the faith, God is greater than President Trump, anything can happen...just go and do your interview with your best abilities...

    Interview questions:

How you met your spouse, how long have you known each other, what was your wedding date?

It was approved but they need attestation of age document sent before issuing visa.

Congrats, do sharp sharp about the attestation of birth...

Good day everyone, i kindly need your advice on this issue,

After months of waiting for our case to change from AP, we are finally granted our request, i received a letter from the Embassy

that our case has been change from AP to visa issue, that i should get a new medical report + my passport to be submitted to the Dhl drop box,

but while having my medicals, i was told the medical report wont be handed over to me, that it will submitted by them directly to the Embassy, i am a little bit confuse here on

what to do, because the letter i received state i had to submit the medical report and the passport together at drop box office. please people what can i do in this case, should i just the submit my passport alone in faith the embassy would receive my medicals directly from the Clinic or indicate in a separate letter that my medical has been submitted by the clinic?

Go and submit your passport as said, your medical report will be forwarded to the embassy electronically, you don't need to worry about that, the earlier, the better

Nawa o. It's okay. But it's not like other previous ones before you. Some got theirs 3days after the interview. Well, my interview is on 13th. It seems I will update my info back to PH pick up cuz I can't stay in Lagos for more 2 weeks after the interview.

I got mine 3 days after my interview, you never can tell..some wait for 10 working days while some just 3 working days,be optimistic, yours might be available after 3 working days...

That’s what I’m saying. You update the profile with your passport number, contact details, and save it. After saving it I went on the home screen and clicked on visa information, nothing happened when I clicked the button

Hmmm...I see, if that's the case I'll advice you to go to the pick up point to check if it's available, I'm very sure your passport would have been delivered to them...

Thanks. But immigrants visa appointments are scheduled by the consulate. How do we go about it? Any link to those who have been scheduled appointment from the embassy in the ustraveldocs to update their accounts?

I have only seen instances of administrative processing thrice for lagos embassy:

    1. Normal admin processing btw interview and when visa was picked up. Visa issue date was same as interview date.

    2. My brother was asked to submit his divorce verification document so his case went into admin processing. He did so and 6 months after, he was called for a 2nd interview. Meanwhile they investigated him by visiting his house unanounced and contacted some of his friends. His visa issue date was the date of his 2nd interview eventhough he picked his visa days after.

    3. My sister was told to go and add her kids to her case so her case went into admin processing. She did everything as instructed and they called her 6 months after for a 2nd interview with her children. Her visa issue date was the 2nd interview date.

All things being equal, as far as i know about lagos o, your visa issue date is the same as the date of the successful interview.

If i am in your shoes, i will not be worried. This visa ban does not affect your case except there are other reasons you are worried. All the best!

I think they've changed it, Visa issuance is usually the next day after interview now in lagos, talking from my own experience...

I'm am soooo HAPPY TO HEAR THIS!! my husbands interview is February 10th at Lagos Embassy. And our immigration laywer said the same thing that the issue date on the visas there are always the date of interview. But I was getting sooo many conflicting reports from people here saying that the issue date is whenever they actually print the visa and have it ready for you to pick up. Praise God! So if everything goes well at his interview and he is approved then the issue date on the visa will be the 10th if February?!

Nope...the issue date is usually the next day after interview
