My EAD and AP were approved this week after 11 months! When I contacted USCIS a couple of months ago I got a refreshingly honest agent who said that they are just so far behind and she hates coming to work at the moment because all she does all day is tell people she doesn't know when they will be able to see their families.
If both your AP and EAD are now outside processing times you can make an enquiry, but chances are you'll just be told you'll get a response in 30 working days, then you don't get a response, so make another enquiry and get told you'll get a response in 20 working days, and the cycle continues.
Hang in there, it will come, Christmas is still a few months away, and you can always have an alternative Christmas a month or two late if you can't get home in December.- Chancy and babysnakes

My fiancee phoned me at 1am UK time last night. I was at first pretty dazed and confused at being woken up, this made its way into mild panic that something bad must have happened. Turns out she had got home from work to find our NOA2 waiting for her!
We've both been having a bit of a rough time at our respective jobs recently and this good news has really lifted us. I couldn't get back to sleep until after 2am. I'm tired today, but I've got a big smile on my face!
Elise is visiting the UK over New Year, so hopefully NVC processing will happen before/during her visit and we'll have another milestone to celebrate!

Hopefully we’ll start getting some late August noa1s approved in the next week. I know there will be a delay with the holiday however. We’re currently on day 91. Just waiting patiently to hear something soon!
Absolutely fellow late-Auguster. The processing date seem to have started ticking up a bit more slowly in the last couple of weeks!

Are you able to get a second passport? I know the UK government lets you get a second passport if your first is being used to obtain a visa and you still need to travel for work, you just need a signed letter from your employers. Appreciate this may not be the case with the Danish government but it could be worth looking in to

Clarification
I'm a little late posting so I can't remember all my dates exactly, but:
Package delivered via USPS to Phoenix Lockbox - 1st Nov
NOA date - 8th Nov
Biometrics waive, online access code, and Extension letter arrived separately over the following two weeks
Service Center - Nebraska
I hope everyone has a smooth and speedy process (but the latter seems like wishful thinking)
