So, I hadn't been able to get an Infopass appoitnent for the last three weeks and sure enough my GC expired.  I called again the day after it expired and they bumped it up to urgent and within two hours I was able to get an appointment for Monday for an extension stamp.  Phew!

I was told that they actually won't take my GC they will just add a sticker to it extending it for one year while I patiently wait for my interview date.

Sorry for all the trouble you have to go through. Sending you good vibes for an interview soon.

  2. This was just for the N-400 interview as my I751 was approved May 2020. I had my interview this morning in Atlanta. Was approved on the spot after initially doing the civics test, then the English test followed by the review of the application. I will receive an invitation to the oath ceremony in a couple of weeks. Here's the 6 question I had to answer:

    1) Before he was President, Eisenhower was a General. What war was he in?

    2) What is the Capital of the USA?

    3) In what month do we vote for a President?

    4) Who's in charge of the executive branch?

    5) Who did the US fight in WWII?

    6) What does the President's Cabinet do?

English question to read: Which State has the most people?

Written English test: California has the most people

I brought new proof (bills, bank statements, insurance renewals, photos, etc.) in addition to the original documents uploaded online when I applied. The officer didn't want to look at it but I was prepared in case she needed anything. She then asked questions, my full name, date of birth, address, name and date of birth of my husband. Yes and no questions. She said she was recommending me for approval and that I should get an invitation to oath ceremony in a couple of weeks. There's no same day oath ceremony in Atlanta. Good luck to everyone who applied in August.

  3. Had my interview this morning at 11:30 and was recommended for approval. During the interview, you are alone in one room and answer questions via an iPad. The questions were easy : which month we vote for President, Eisenhower was a General in which war, who's in charge of the executive office, what's the Capital of the USA, what does the President's Cabinet do, who did we fight during WW II.

Then the English test is printed and you read the question. Another page is printed and you write the answer.

After that, they review your application and answer yes or no questions.

It takes about 20 minutes. I should get an oath ceremony invitation in a couple of weeks. I will update when I get it. Good luck everyone

  4. Hi Jaya_razz,

Same here. It's both our first marriage so no need to fill that section. I provided his birth certificate, our marriage certificate, tax transcripts for the past 3 years (all pages), bank accounts (a few months of the past 3 years), utility bills, credit card bills, copies of our drivers licence showing same address, house deed, life insurance policies and a few other documents showing comingling of our life. I figured more proofs of our strong relationship was better.

App tracker just told me case is approved.

We sent GC, DL showing same address, 2017+18 IRS tax transcripts (no W2s), Deed on the house, memberships, joint bank account, joint credit card statements, utilities showing both names, chat conversations between us, photocopies of cards received, travel arrangements for the last 3 years, 35 photos with names, dates and place, 3 letter from friends and family (not notarized).

Wishing all of you to get an answer soon 🙂

  6. @3KKKLLL - my ROC is also processed at  SRC (Texas).  I've been waiting since Aug. 21st for the biometric appointment. SRC is very slow and it's possible they will reuse your biometrics from your I-485 application. If not, they will eventually send you an appointment.

Look at this file for SRC and you will see how long it takes them : https://drive.google.com/file/d/18wmTLuX2qkwJfyMTY00js3CC15bp5fpQ/view
