Thanks so much!  I just sent my husband the I-864 and my tax transcripts for him to print. It said they wanted that but was kind of weird because I had read they don’t require the beneficiary to present the financial sponsorship documents. I will let you know what they tell him Tuesday. Hopefully you get a date soon.

Hi I was reading your message I have a question for you if you don’t mind answering I’m in the process of turning my wife’s paperwork in and I wanted to ask what did you have to show for I-864 paperwork and when did you have to show those items or can this part be done here in the states or does it need to be turned in during the interview in Costa Rica

  2. Ok I'm having a hard time on figuring what's going on I received my NO2 on 3/25/2020 I keep calling the nvc and I recieved my case number and invoice number from an operator but the operator keeps telling me I won't receive my NO2 welcome package because the Manila embassy isn't accepting any files my NVC letter is now expired but I see here on this forum some people have interview dates and are getting medical exams done

  3. Hi guys I talked to the National Visa Center this morning and was told all K1 Visa NO2A Packets transfers have been suspended until all embassy's open back up and then you will be able to set an interview date this they also said that they know alot of NO2A acceptance letters are about to expire but they have no control of the situations and that we should hear something from the embassy's before the letter expires in a email hopefully soon

  4. Hello I have a question guys my fiancé and i petition was approved this past March 24, 2020 with that being said I received our NO2A letter I-797 maybe a week after so what I'm getting at it is now the month of June and I still haven't received a welcome letter with further instructions on what i need to prepare next I have called the NVC on two occasions and both times the told me they received my our packet in may and was entering it into the system to send to manila that was said both times that I called how ever they did give me my case number and invoice number that was this past may 11, 2020 now its June 21, 2020 and I have one month left until the NO2A letter of approval is about to expire is anyone going thru a similar situation or has gone through one and what should I do about it

  5. @Carin BuladoAlso the Philippines is not letting anyone that isn't a government official or a OFW and or a resident into the country also all the ones I just listed also have to do 14 day quarantine  once they enter manila and also 14 day quarantine if they travel to any other part of the Philippines they have set strict rules for traveling to a different island and they are possibly going to roll back the quarantine again

  6. @Carin BuladoMy Petition was approved this past march 25, 2020 and the NVC just received our approved paper work in May 11 or the 15 and I still have not received our welcoming letter or further instructions on our next steps I have called 2 times already I obtained our case number and invoice number but we have not heard anything more they told us they are waiting on manila to open back up to send the paper work of it could take some time

  7. Ok so I just spoke with the nvc again to get some clarity on what's going on and why its taking so long I was told its taking so long and case statuses haven't changed because the manila embassy is closed so they cant send the files because their isn't anyone to accept them so they are basically sitting until the embassy opens and starts interviews again

  8. @MilmaukaYea I know not very encouraging and besides their aren't any international flights going out anyway and the Philippines isn't allowing any that isns't a diplomat or government or a Philippine resident into the country honestly I don't think that they will resume  interviews probably until next year and by that time the system may be over loaded

  9. @Ryceryce hello how are you I talked with the nvc and they told me that my case just arrived on may 11 of this month I was given my cas number over the phone but forgot to ask for the invoice number so ill be calling again but I was told i wont get a welcome letter with instructions until they are finished processing when ever that is and they are also waiting on Manila to respond for alot of cases but Im not sure totally but I did talk with the nvc

Anytime.  If taken before visa issuance you will need to revisit a CFO office to receive the sticker.   If after,  then sticker is issued immediately

    Thank you!

  11. Hi group My fiance' and I have recently received our K1 fiance approval and our case is on the way to the NVC I was wondering after we receive our case number can the CFO seminar be take before or is it best to be taken after the embassy interview

Q1 - Month and Date the California Service Center is processing. Can't give you a date as that information is never revealed but I can say they are working on November before virus.

Q2 - k1 processing time for the California Service Center Date that Visa Journey post is correct. Not all VJ members keep their timelines up to date. Those that do add to the timing and is somewhat of a gauge. Keep in mind that member from all over the world are applying and each come from different backgrounds and country's and therefore it won't necessary be true 100% true for your timeline.

Q3 - whats the difference between the Visa Journey processing date and the USCIS processing date. VJ p-date is what other members of VJ are experiencing. USCIS dates are a guesstimate and are listed further out then the actual are. It's done so that you don't get antsy.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

    Thanks

Thanks so much this is a big help
