  1. from your earlier post, she should have proof of completing the course she had to take after her battery conviction
  2. she needs to schedule the medical she needs passport photos that are taken in under 6 months to be safe i would print out the ds 160 and fill it out to take proof she has been tested as required for the last year new I 134 and proof of income proof of US residency basically same documents as 1st interview best to you both there are several members that have gone thru this and they should respond
  3. my IRA for 2025 says how much i will receive in my 4 quarterly payments / i get a letter each October for the i 864 as you need , the 2024 1099 R is required
  4. as i wrote i had a NOID took a year for appeal to be answered
  5. read thru your agreement carefully as it will probably say those attorneys filed the petition and they have fullfilled the cobtract
  6. 1099R forms are sent each year to persons to show annual IRA Distributions that are used when filing tax returns
  7. the information for embassy interview would be question 62 c stating country of interview / check your copy of the I 130
  8. doesn't help to view timeline as you put adjusted status in october but will arrive this month on 29th 2025
  9. you received a NOIR NOT NOID

you do include the notice when you send your evidence back

you will need to submit it according to the letter you receive

with actual proof that each and every issue the CO came up with is mistaken

Example:  actual proof is sending dated messages that prove your case -not just saying "we talked of that" or "we did that"

proof of all visits are boarding passes not itinerary

    read flags?

    like big age difference

little actual in person time together is limited

    marriage on 1 st  trip

Thank you for your kind response. Please do you have an idea on how long it takes the USCIS to make a decision to the noir responThank you for your kind response. Please do you have an idea on how long it takes the USCIS to make a decision to the noir response?

i had long RFE  but no one read it as response was in 2 days   / i then did appeal for NOID and was a year for response      most depends on reason for NOIR    does embassy have to check validity of documents?    USCIS only addesses the timeframe for the USC to respond to the NOIR in chapter 10   /they do not promise or mention timeframe for them to work on it

  11. when did you petition for the K1? please create a time line on your portal Has USCIS completed their process (can take a year)? Petitioner receives email when case is sent to NVC (at that time USCIS no longer has your case and u will not be able to access info there NVC will send petitioner the new embassy # (give them a month or so) after you have embassy case #, the CEAC site will have status / here it will show up under immigrant https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx
  12. what u will need is the confirmation page of the DS 160
  13. In the military so he came on tourist visa not R visa ? he joined your church so assuming he did not come for working at your church If this is a B visa, the interview will be hard and you say he has money to support u, he has to complete AOS to work so he won't be supporting u my issue is not that he is from Ghana My issue is your timeline and rushing into marriage as the CO will also think and of course, his parents are for this great opportunity for him to stay in USA but have you met them in person? that's the important part / its so important for you to meet the family and the mom to approve after seeing you (basically to know things about your life style). you should meet them / u should let him return to Ghana and do the CR1 whether u marry here or there . Going this AOS way makes it hard to get SS # and add to bank account. and again, if u do choose to marry now, do it before end of December / no reason to wait till January From Africa myself, i think everyone here would say i am looking always at the process and difficulties it can face
  14. 1st u need to read up on the divorce laws in your state / some require a long waiting period (NY is 1 year after a formal separation agreement) Next she or husband need to file for divorce if she is in a state that does this fast, she should get copy of the legal papers and return to her home country if the state is not fast, she should get a lawyer to make sure she receives copy of the divorce Then, you can think about visiting her and marriage and possible spouse visa / it will be an uphill battle from this prior experience and when reading online about AOS and divorce waivers, understand a spouse visa and divorce can use the waiver K1 fiancee can not / she has to go home tell her So very sorry this did not work out for her and wishing u 2 the best
  15. does she have a Shengen visa? What embassy did you list on the documents for her interview? you can transfer to another country its at the bottom of the topics on this site https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/national-visa-center/immigrant-visas-processing-general-faqs.html
  16. Did he bring all the documents needed for this process -like divorce papers and his birth certificate? these are things that will look like he planned to stay and adjust Originals will be needed at his interview so you have plenty of time to have someone back in Ghana send them/ i would keep the outside envelopes to prove he didn't have them at POE upon arrival If he is here on any work visa, he now needs to wait for the process to be able to work and u need to completely support him including buying health care insurance I am sorry but if you are only dating since this last summer, so did you meet when he came in 2023 or before online? If so, the correspondence will show up in his social media It does not look strange (to me) that you feel in love and made decision to marry But to a CO , it looks as strange as flying to Ghana and marrying on the 1st visit and you have not met his family? his kids? Marry now in the US in 2025 and do the W7 for his ITIN to claim him for the double deduction BUT let him return to Ghana and do the CR1/ IR1, and visit him there to meet his family when you are in Ghana , take his divorce papers to the US embassy and ask a CO there if the papers are legit /sorry if this sounds harsh but u have to understand there is a reason this country is considered high fraud I am Adil, also from Africa high fraud country and I know its important for u to meet his family and have their approval. My wife (now of 15 years) came several times she not only checked all my social media (back then it was My Space and a dating site), but also made me have a complete medical exam including chest xray before marriage as illnesses like TB could have made it "no visa" you say 2 1/2 years is too long but you have already waited 40 don't rush this Read the section under Decision https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/adjustment-of-status
  17. SCOPS consists of six Service Centers that provide immigration benefits for petitioners and applicants who do not require interviews/ this includes Texas Service Center https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/organization/directorates-and-program-offices/service-center-operations-directorate
  18. green card received 11/2015 if u want US citizenship, apply
  19. he can sponsor on SSDI the problem is he won't have it approved in time as u are already at the NVC stage Has he already stopped working and has applied to SS ? that is what is needed
  20. SSI is not automatic and can take months (even years ) to be approved Been thru this with my mom who had RH and lost a kidney and my son who has had 10 bad surgeries along with several other joints -all in all he had 42 surgeries and had to fight SS to be approved SS is another federal government and nothing is fast or guaranteed SS likes to deny cases and make you hire a good lawyer to prove a case Even after getting approved , benefits do not start till 5 to 6 months from the day approved (they are for the amount from day of application) But this income will not be available for your interview Best if he finds a joint sponsor and best to show u plan to work after POE to have health care for you and the son as if he is on SSI , he will be on medicare and can not add u So very sorry he is this ill and my prayers are for the 2 of u to be together and happy
  21. What country? Mine, embassy wants all originals but others say they don't So, please fill out your timeline and ID the country
  22. The AOS process for your wife will be longer due to the fact u r LPR /its not as fast as for the USC Are u soon able to naturalize? If so, upgrade as soon as u take the oath If You Were an LPR and Are Now a U.S. Citizen: Upgrading a Petition If you filed a petition for your spouse when you were a lawful permanent resident (LPR), and you are now a U.S. citizen, you must upgrade the petition from family second preference (F2) to immediate relative (IR)
