Medication prescriptions when moving
JeanneAdil replied to Turquoise's topic in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America
med bottles need to be in plastic see thru bags FYI It is best to put them in carry on luggage (checked in bags are often delayed or lost ) you can not have them sent from another country https://www.help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-1815?language=en_US Prescription drugs are approved and regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In most circumstances, it is illegal for individuals to import drugs or devices into the United States for personal use because these products purchased from other countries often have not been approved by the FDA for use and sale in the United States. For example, a drug approved for use in another country but not approved by the FDA would be considered an unapproved drug in the United States and, therefore, illegal to import. You will need a US dr to get your meds after the 90 days -
Adoption requirements for US
JeanneAdil replied to MichaelMechieME2's topic in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America
not on the adoption, itself, but if you file K1, the child is included (with no fees to immigration) if you marry in her country and do the I 130 for spouse, you also must file I 130 for the child with all the paperwork and fees -
if never received a notice that case was approved at USCIS stage, you can check it there If it was sent on to NVC and you received the embassy number, check it here note that if you never went thru with the I 184 and ds 260 at this stage, the petition would have died https://egov.uscis.gov/ with your new I 130, send a notice that you are cancelling the other petition as there was a divorce, send copy (not original) of the divorce papers

It will very much depend on what the dr says If the medicine you are taking keeps you stable and without it, you would have issues , then you need to follow drs orders i am sure the dr would have already taken the meds away if you do not need them don't stop on your own With the prescription , you can bring in 90 days of meds ( in original bottles and in baggie) as mentioned above you will need US dr to write the presciption after POE and the wait for appointment could be a long one

Irving (Dallas)
JeanneAdil replied to NB5347's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports
https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-g-chapter-5 2. Spouses with Pending Petitions and Naturalization Application s An application for naturalization may not be approved if there is a pending petition for removal of conditions. If an applicant’s petition to remove conditions is pending at the time of filing or is filed prior to the interview, USCIS will adjudicate the petition to remove conditions prior to or concurrently with the adjudication of the naturalization application.[ The following is the schedule for oath (s) check it often as they will update it passed the March date when they know https://www.txnd.uscourts.gov/naturalization-ceremony-schedule -
Children on i-864

Children on i-864
JeanneAdil replied to Uriensf5's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
it would help if we could see your timeline (please complete one on your profile) as this depends on when the interview will take place if before 4/15 only USC petitioner has to update with the child added If after 4/15 u will need 2025 tax returns as well as the joint sponsor's and new I 864 for both So, when is the interview? What country is the embassy in? Are you providing documents to show you can add the spouse to health care insurance or buy a policy in your state? Are u DQ'd? -
USCIS relies on a criminal report when they have to investigate / investigation would have been prompted by the arrest and conviction report your spouse had to provide with the petition You can research yourself and see if he is on the National registry https://www.fbi.gov/how-we-can-help-you/scams-and-safety/sex-offender-registry you can not see if he is listed in the child registry as that is for law enforcement but a US attorney could help with that

Sounds like the father now thinks there is a "rich american" that can pay him off/ and that might be cheaper than lawyer -
RFE 76 days waiting
JeanneAdil replied to Japa579's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
they will need one from her too / copy of it is ok then they will proceed with your case as this is all the office is waiting for -
make sure your NVC documents show you have searched the cost of health care insurance in your state as the reason jamicia is om the ban is for using Public Benefits and she will loose her Canadian health care when she is in the USA / cover all the bases so he doesn't experience a long AP after the interview Good luck to you and mom

please fill out a timeline and ID the country Also ID the US office (usually for K1 , its California but could also be Texas) you can find normal processing times on following site https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ If that document was noticed as not in the pagers upon receiving the petition , it will still take normal processing times u probably will not hear anything till petition is sent to NVC Hopefully u did have the intent -to-marry from each party not just 1
