Today I cried tears Of grief because I have a special needs child who was out of control and I was so saddened and devastated. 
Shortly after, I received a text that my VAWA was approved. I am so grateful to Allah! I filed in January 2019. No RFE 
I wish all of you the same happiness. This isn’t real. 
question: while my green card application is pending, can I travel with just VAWA? Like by applying for advanced parole or something ? 

No officer in it right senses will delay such approval. Congratulations 

There is at least a dozen banks that will open accounts for people who are not citizens OR permanent residents, even for those with no social security numbers. Most banks require a photo ID (passport) a SSN or ITIN number if you dont have a SSN, and proof of residence. You seem to be having trouble with proving residence. Banks can accept utility bills (which you dont have) OR signed rental agreements. Go to a bank in person and see what else they would accept for proof of residence since you dont have a utility bill. Many times you can not open an account like this online and need to do it in person at the branch. 

Had to go to the bank. Not sure you can open an account online without an SSN. It has been a few years now but I just showed them my passport and whatever visa I had at the time

I’m yet to apply for I-485. My fee waiver was denied so I’m trying to get a job to raise the fee and file. I Have a work permit. Been waiting for reply from all the places i applied to.

Lol it's true!😸 I still have my valid EAD which expires in Dec and compare it to the GC in terms of aesthetics and the EAD wins everytime!😛😸

When the link comes up on the IRS website do see if you are able to put in your details...Resident aliens are eligible whether they filed 2018/2019 taxes or not! Keep checking the portal. I just got my $1200 direct-deposited this morning!👍

Hello everyone. I’m still trying to get a job. I have never filed tax. Can i still get the stimulus check? I don’t have a bank account as well. Hoping to get one once i get a job. 

Write in your I-912, that you are unemployed and you do not have a bank account, any assets or savings. Mention that you were in a shelter for victims of domestic violence until 2018 and now your friend is providing you free room and board but she can't help you financially, and you don't have anyone to help you financially either, therefore you can't pay the USCIS fees.
 
Notarize your friend's affidavit.She should write her name, address, date and place of birth. She should mention your name, your  place and date of birth, and state that she is providing you free room and board since xxxx.,and she should write " I declare  under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States of America that the foregoing is true and correct".
