Well, the time has finally come!!! Pete leaves for London tomorrow!! After 3 long years...of flying back and forth....we are finally here to the end. His interview isn't until Thursday morning. His dad is accompanying him there, and they are going to do some sight seeing.

I've asked Pete this evening if he is nervous or owt...he's said...No, not really. He looks at it like this: " Everyone there is there for the same reason I am, so why bother being nervous about it." (although I still think part of him is..hehe )

So if anyone happens to have an interview date on Thursday, around 10:00 am...Pete says to say hello!!!

Pete and I are still here...mostly lurking as well...Between me going to college, working six days a week now, my 2 rugrats, then talking with Pete, and trying to get my house ready for him...well..I'm lucky to have a moment to myself anymore..lol

Pete just got Packet 4 in the mail, and his interview date is set for November 8th at 10am in London!!! Can't wait..it's finally...almost over!!!

ok..got that...do you happen to know about the side of the form tho that is requesting the pic? Does he attach one there..or just bring the pic with him to the Interview? (2 pics to interview...one to Medical I believe) ? Thanks you tho

Well, I'm just glad our starting will hopefully be over...for a while anyhow..and soon..once Pete gets the Packet 3 finally mailed out...lol...due to his work schedule, it's been a bit difficult for him to get everything done at the moment.

I would say to contact your local Congressman and get them involved, being that he is still a minor in the eyes of the United States, his case would actually have presidence over say, and an unmarried child over the age of 18.

I take it she is still in the Phillippines...and you are the USC....So why haven't you or she reported it ...despite the threats...she would get protection from the law..and if she knows the person, what more evidence would she need than that of the DNA of the baby. How long have you been married/separated from one another. Call me skeptical, and I apologize, but I feel there's a bit more to the story than what is being told.

Right, so on the form DS156, where you have to fill it out online, the spot where it has "Put photo here"....Would Pete put that on..or do they put it on in London when you are suppose to bring the 2 passport styled pics with you....(and 1 to medical right??) ..and one spot says not to sign the form...does he sign it or not?

Ok, so I know Pete didn't get a medical questionairre in his packet 3....but is told to make an appointment for medical....he's mailing forms back probably tomorrow...if they send it with packet 4, I just hope it comes in time before the medical....but then again, he has the option of being cheeky and saying...he's never been sent one..or forgot it..and let the medical staff provide him with a copy.

I'm so sorry to hear of this. I know Pete and I have had our share of squabbles, and even broke up for a couple of weeks. The stress with this visa process is enough to send anyone over the edge...having to be kept away from the one you love for so long. We have reconciled, and just look forward to the future....we know how we are in person with one another, and that the love is strong. The internet and telephone conversations are just temporary. Perhaps he will have a change of heart, if it is meant to be. If not, best to find out now, and realize that there is still someone out there worth your love. xxx Best of luck to you.

I'm so sad. Got a letter today and it is what a Packet 3 cover letter would look like. It says they are pleased to inform us that they have received the approved visa petition. It asks us to gather the documents we will need in support of our application and says "these are explained in the enclosed package of forms" but there were no forms included! The only thing included is the instructions for the medical and questionnaire (by the way we just scheduled the medical for Bentick Mansions at 9:15 am on wed Oct 3rd).

It say when we have notified them that we have all our documents (I'm assuming this is where a checklist would come in) and they have completed processing our case they will notify us of our interview date. Again, we didn't receive a checklist or forms or anything so not sure what we are supposed to do. I'm gonna find a way to call them cuz this is crazy. I should have just gotten Packet 4 like you guys.

Hello. I know when Pete got his Packet 3 in the mail, it had the letter and a form he needed to sign. It should have said on the letter which forms you need, and should have given you a URL to go to at the London Embassy website to download the forms. IF you CLICK HERE, this is my earlier post about what to send, as there was some confusion. I have listed the forms there. (we are going for K-1 visa).

The medical questionnaire is given to you at the doctors, at least mine was last year.

I didn't have the date of the interview just my case number. In fact the instructions to arrange the medical come with packet 3 which is some weeks before you know when the interview date will be. You could try calling the US phone number and asking them if London have assigned a case number if it has been assigned they should be able to tell you what it is.

Can't see the doctor would really care about when the interview is it doesn't effect what they do, so when you get the case number call them and ask.

You sent me an inbox this morning asking for the questionairre, .....Lansbury has given you the answer here. The questionairre is available at the medical. It is not something that you take with you. You will need photo id's, your shot records, and your case number I believe.

Thank you so much for clearing that up. Pete was reading me the letter, and unless I would actually have it infront of me, I just couldn't understand it right...lol.
