    hi,
I contacted the embassy in Los Angeles and the counselor was very nice and issue a letter for me to show at the airport that proves that my husband lives in Sweden and I'm just using CPH airport to transit. my husband lives in Malmo, so I use a train to go see him.

My documens all say accepted. Then I have 2 messages that won´t open. One says I am DQ (documentarily qualified) and the other says I don´t meet the minimal income requirements....

Mine took 64 days exactly. But then they asked for another document and after submitting them, it took another 80 days from the date submitted again. (during COVID-19). December 2019-Feb (rejected) -May 14 (accepted). So, yours can differ depending on your citizenship status.  NVC has limited working on cases so now I am not sure when embassies will open and resume again. Also, mine was spouse visa. If yours is brother sister category; it may differ.

The "routine" visa processing is on hold everywhere now, not only Sweden. If they don't restart "routine" visa processing by the time NVC reviews and accepts your file, then that is the only thing that will slow you down and you will get scheduled at first available opportunity.

I missed the fact that you are talking about NVC stage and I was thinking about I-130.

Quite frankly I think that even though they might be operating a limitted staff, it shouldn't cause extra delays, might in fact  still process everything even faster than normal for the reasons discussed above.

Everything depends on how quickly you can get all required docs filed with NVC and if they find anything deficient. If done right the first time I would count whatever time you need to get everything filed with them then add 2 months for NVC to process plus whatever time is needed to schedule interview date. Currently foreign posts might be operating on a limited basis but by the time NVC is done with you and schedules interview, all should be about normal. All in all I still think it will take you 4-5 months.

I just paid my IV/AofS fees and I'm pretty confident they will schedule me for fall 2020 and I will have to reschedule for a later date next year to get outside my inadmissability window.

Many visa types are put on hold, not banned. It depends, if goverment decides to extend the "hold" then I would say you have a chance to be done with I-130 in 4-5 months. If they end the "hold" and start processing all cases, then all bets are off. Good luck!

Faster?! They have limited staff! Expect it to be slower.

Due to the global COVID-19 outbreak, NVC is currently working with reduced staff. During this time, we ask that you only contact us with urgent medical or humanitarian inquiries, or necessary case updates that are still pending.
(Please note 3:30 PM-4:00 PM will see extended wait times in our call center).
During this period of reduced staffing, we will not be able to answer general questions such as case status.  These answers can be better found using our self-service tools. Please log into https://ceac.state.gov for your most current case status and for a list of any documents you are required to submit.
The latest updates for U.S. Embassies and Consulates, including operating status of the Consular Section, can be found at https://usembassy.gov. NVC cannot predict when Consular Sections will resume routine services, or when your case will be scheduled for an interview.
NVC cannot provide any additional details on the 22-APR-20 Presidential Proclamation suspending entry of some immigrants. If you call or email on this topic, you will be directed to review the announcement and exceptions which are available at: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/Proclamation-Suspending-Entry-of-Immigrants-Who-Present-Risk-to-the-US-labor-market.html
