Your timeline shows that the initial K-1 interview was 1/21, with a second interview scheduled for 2/4, and they asked for additional proof of the relationship, such as chat logs, or any other evidence you can take to the second interview that shows your relationship is bona fide.  This is not the norm for most locations, but it is very common for Casablanca.  Dig deeper and take whatever you can.  Maybe you have emails or phone call logs, or other things like your Facebook relationship record.  I remember doing this and I found an app that was able to pull old chat records from my phone when I thought they were lost.  Take all the documents that you can put together to the second interview and hope for the best!

We don't have a second interview scheduled. they just said they would call us in "2 weeks".

We did have all that proof from when we petitioned, until 3 days before the interview. pages for every month of every year and many pictures of us together, with family and video chat pics. He gave them to the CO during the interview so hopefully we don't have to provide anything else but his passport.

Hi there, I know my embassy wasn't Casablanca but the Philippine Embassy also places some level of importance on chat transcripts. So maybe I can help.

I had the same issue as you. My husband and I started talking on a mobile application that we had both uninstalled before we even got to know about the K1 process. What I did for evidence was:
    1) Take a screenshot of the app information on Google Play Store (I'm using an Android phone)
    2) Include a short description of the application (how it works, etc.) and the time period when we used it
    3) Explain that we decided to uninstall the app and our reasons for doing so (we switched to LINE and Messenger)
    4) Include all other screenshots of our chats from the earliest point we could gather (One screenshot per the 15th of every month to show continuity)

    It worked. 👍

Im glad! if they do ask for that I will do something similar. we have SO SO many screen shots of our conversations on messanger but not the first few days we talked on the app.

If this is a typical request, I will have the same problem.  Accidentally deleted our Facebook messages when Facebook updated messenger and you could delete an entire conversation with someone by swiping.  His Facebook was hacked and he lost all of his messages later.  I did find a photo he sent to me with the date stamped on it from the day he sent it.  I wonder if something like that would work.

Who knows from their first conversation that they will end up wanting to marry someone, bring them to the United States, and keep all of their messages?  I would have never thought to myself, "I should keep all of these messages to prove our relationship one day".

Haha! I agree...I never thought that conversation would go anywhere since we are SO far away.. but here we are. :D

I hope you don't have trouble with that. Its hard to believe those reviews saying they only asked 3 questions and said they were approved...

All you can do is provide what you do have. Were you asked to provide your initial chat conversations at the interview? That is rather common at the Casablanca consulate. I would provide them with what you have, and maybe include a note explaining why you don't have initial conversations. No one can say whether you will be approved or not after providing the additional documentation, but all you can do is try.

Thank you, that is great advice.

They haven't requested it...yet. im just thinking ahead. During the interview the CO was very adamant about the application in which we met.. and we have a feeling she might want to see conversations from it.

Anyway, we might have to explain that we no longer have access to that and we never planned on keeping a log.

Administrative processing is mandatory for all cases after the interview.  It could be a day, a week, months or even longer.  Sometimes they return the passport, and sometimes, they do not.  Unfortunately, extended administrative processing for Morocco is not uncommon.  Watch the CEAC status.  That will be your indication as to the result of the AP.....good luck.

Thank you, we saw that one of them was updated to AP so we will watch that one.

You should be fine with most recent months or weeks chats

i really hope so. i tried to retrieve them conversations but they are no longer exist.

  7. Hello, my Fiancé just had his interview and we are a bit confused with the CEAC status.

I checked it by using the case # given by NVC and selecting IMMIGRANT VISA... Status says READY

He checks it using the ID# on the DS-160 and selects NON-IMMIGRANT VISA and the status is "NO STATUS".

So which is it? Why do both work?

His interview went well but they asked for our additional proof of relationship/contact and pictures (which he handed over) and they gave him a 221g white form saying "Admin Review" and we will call you in 2 weeks. Gave him his passport back.

Does anyone know what's going on? Or which status is correct?

    Thank you,

    Andie

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

    Thanks

Hello, I went to that section of my profile and everything is already filled out. I don't know why its not showing my flag, but my profile does state that the country is Morocco.

I think others have already pointed out where you can find what you're looking for. However, be careful with studying interview questions like you're doing. The interview is simply a conversation about your relationship, and you don't want it to look like your fiancé(e) has memorized answers to every possible question; that would look suspicious.

My interview was in Amsterdam, so very different from yours. I just got some basic questions about where and how we met, and why I wanted to move to him instead of him moving to the Netherlands. I was also asked why someone like me who was pursuing a PhD would want to marry a pizza delivery guy, and if he was capable of having "smart conversations". COs are trained to ask questions that may make you feel uncomfortable so they can see how you respond.

Thank you for your response. You have made a great point. I'll try to be less stressed. I can feel my body trembling with these nerves. The officers can almost dictate your life, and depending on then is hell.

Here's what my fiancé (now husband) was asked at his interview in Casablanca:

-How and when did you meet your fiancé(e)?
When did you first meet in person (if met online)?
-How many times have you met in person?

-How many times has she been to Morocco?
How long did you date before getting engaged?
-When did you get engaged (exact date)?
    -Who proposed and how?
-What did they say to the proposal?
-When was the last time you saw your fiancé(e)?
-Did you have an engagement party?
-What do you (beneficiary) do for a living?
-What does the petitioner do for a living?
-Do you want to have children?
-When are you planning on getting married?
-Do you have any wedding plans (location, guest info)?
-What does your fiancé(e) like (hobbies, favorite book, meal T.V show, ECT.)?
-What kinds of things do you enjoy doing together?
-What do you and your fiancé(e) have in common?
-Have you met or spoken to your fiancé(e)’s children or any other family members?
-Where does the petitioner live (state, city)?
-What do you love about your fiancé(e)?
    -What is your fiancé(e)’s name?
    -How old is your fiancé(e)?
-What do you know about your fiancé(e)’s previous relationship (if applicable)?
-What faith does your fiancé(e) practice?
    -What is your faith background?
-Has your fiancé(e) ever been convicted of a crime?
-Has your family met your fiancé(e)? What do they think of them?
-(If using a co-sponsor) Who is your co-sponsor? Why are they willing to sponsor you? How was your fiancé(e) able to afford trips to Morocco if they have a limited income?
-What do you plan to do once you arrived in the USA?
-Why did you decide to marry in the USA rather than in your country?

Thanks, these are the questions we have been going over.

  12. I feel like once people went through the interview process they forget about this website and about all the people waiting to hear back about their experience.

My Fiance and I are pending the interview and studying dozens of "most common questions asked" ... But would love to have your personal experience with the interview and most importantly WHAT DID THEY ASK YOU?

I think this site is lacking the support of AFTER receiving/ or not the Visa.

PLEASE comment below, tell us how your interview went and help the rest of us. ❤️❤️
