Just wanted to mention that I was in Canada with my husband for the last month and he was able to come across with me today into the US. I’m American, he’s Canadian, just waiting on our CR1/IR1 interview In Montreal. He’s staying a couple weeks as we have a few prenatal appointments here. 

Saw someone post this on reddit regarding being a Canadian crossing the border to be with their American spouse, thought it might be helpful:

“...I'm also a Canadian married to an American with a pending i130. I spoke with someone on here in a similar situation who was able to cross the border during the travel ban due to COVID-19. I then took my chances (safely, of course!) and did the same. The officer at first said my trip was non-essential until I said my spouse is an American citizen. He asked for proof, and so I showed him our marriage certificate and a photo of his passport. I was then allowed to enter the USA. From what I read, they will never ban close family members. Wanting to be with them during this tough time is not considered tourism, which is what the travel ban sees as non-essential (especially when you're probably just going to be home all day!) Good luck :)”

So I'm a little worried now. My husband requested under the privacy act but I'm seeing some say that it should say "other" under the request type, where his says for non-certified criminal information. Is this what yours said @Val0000 ? Or should we go get a different one?

Received our approval notice in the mail today, no update on the tracker app but was updated on my.uscis. I hope everyone receives the same good news soon. ❤️

Don't know if anyone has seen this yet, USCIS Responds to Letter from 86 House Members Regarding Case Processing Delays 

Someone posted it on the facebook I-130 page, just found it interesting.

I sent off our application for our I-130 last week (spousal) and I just realized going over the copies I made that I sent off a copy of our Ontario marriage license (not a copy of the certificate that we just received) I assume I have to wait for NOA1, but once I receive that how do I go about fixing this? I really would like to avoid a RFE over this if at all possible. 

Just sent our I-130 off today, scheduled for delivery tomorrow in Chicago. We are beyond excited, but I know there is a long journey ahead  🙏
