Finally I got my green card in mail. After 2 months of fighting with USCIS. It was a struggle guys! 
But long story short. They sent the cards but forgot to put an apt# 🙄
I went to INFOPASS where we changed the address in their systems. 
I will write a big post later to those who is in the same situation.
So I got a card. But guess what? They send just mine. My son still didn’t get a card🤦🏻‍♀️
 
But I came here to ask another question. When we are allow to apply for citizenship? 
Is it 3 or 5 years?

Good morning my Vawa family I am in tears😂😂😭😭 tears of joy, I feel like running skipping   praising the Lord   for what he has done for me he has set me free.
I did my interview in June 2021 has I stated in my previous thread, I  received rfe after interview for medical which uscis received June 23, 2021 and just now I can celebrate,  I can sing,  I can dance,  I can jump, I am screaming  my head off...my card is in production. 
Guys I know it is not an easy road .but God is in control and he will carry all of us through this journey with a positive out come..

1. The 3 and 5 year rule to apply for US Citizenship depends on the status of the abuser, If your abuser was a US Citizen when you applied Vawa and I-485 you can apply in 3 years.
2. If the abuser was an LPR when you applied Vawa but he became a Us citizen after your I-360 was approved you can also apply in 3 years. 
3. if the abuser was an LPR when you apply for VAWA, and he did not naturalize before I-485 approval, than you must wait 5 years to apply for the Us citizenship.

Vermont Service Center is changing Address,  All mail and correspondence everything should be sent to the new address Effectively June 14, 2021 Mail sent to the old address will be forward to the new address for a period of one year, after June 22, 2022  if any mail or application is sent to the old address will be returned to sender.

Guys! Even after we fixed the address with IO during my interview they AGAIN SENT MY CARDS BACK TO USCIS because they forgot to put an apt number😡😡😡😡
Im furious!!!! 
It was an about 15 minutes away from me. I got the picture of them in my USPS app and it went back to USCIS!
I have no words how messed up the address there!

So I just came back from Nashville were I had my interview. And I want to Thank all of you who are doing the best efforts here to help to navigate they the process and to support the folks who is going they the struggle.
All of us can imagine how stressful this process can be.
But. If you will wait and believe the great news will come soon!
I was so stressful about interview but after all I was really surprised how well it went and how fast and easy!
It took between 25 to 30 minutes.
Nothing hard or complicated.
(Of course it depends if the case) 
If you have everything you need it will fly fast you won’t even notice it! I promise!
And now. You are wonderful people!
We are in the same boat in here and supporting each other was a blessing for me!🙏🏻

We were supposed for each other and after all our small family became even more strong!
My sweet boy! He went thru all of this like a real man!
So. I would say...just stay focused. Believe in a process and sometimes just try to relax and enjoy life no matter what. 
And the best news of getting you VAWA approved or of receiving you interview notice will come just in the right moment!

NEVER MOVE TO OTHER PLACE GUYS UNTIL YOU WON’T GET YOUR GC. 
 

My notice went to my shelters address so my case manages from the shelter let me know.
I still don’t have an VAWA approval noticed. But my GC is approved already so I don’t need that VAWA approval notice anymore.

Anecdotally, it is also the advice that I got, and one of the reasons I have delayed divorcing him for now even though we are separated. I just wanted to leave without trouble so I wanted a no-fault divorce, and even though I ended up not using a lawyer, it was definitely the advice I got...and took because I heard it from a few credible sources but it is possible it actually doesn't matter in the grand scheme. 

Hey @sandranj I have a question for my friend who is very anxious. She has 2 lawyers and They are trying to keep her away from divorcing with her husband by agreement saying that if she will divorce in just regular way she won’t be able to get her citizenship because the reason for that should be divorce by abuse.
I don’t think that is tru. But I just want to show her an answer from professional. So she will believe. She already paid them huge bunch of money and her process is stayed in the same place since her husband will never sign a divorce papers based on abuse.

So I have updates guys.
As I posted earlier I had an interview this noon.
And after interview IO didn’t tell a result. Yes or No. That scared me so much. I couldn’t guess why they need to go thru my paperwork more deeply. Or. What could she not like in my case.
I went to the hotel very frustrated.
But in 5 hours I got a mail from USCIS and it was a card production email🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️
