We had a big ceremony in a conference center. There were about  a dozen stations each with a couple immigration officers helping out. I arrived, checked in, and they told me which station to go to.
 
At the station, one officer took my green card while the other checked my documents and confirmed my name from the list. At this time I was handed a manila envelope with a few brochures and a small American flag. They marked something in the forms and took my green card and forms. 
 
We went in the conference room. We seated 6ft apart from each other.  I don't remember the order of all of it but at some point we: heard form 2 speakers, recited the pledge of allegiance, national anthem, heard a message from Biden, and finally we took the oath of allegiance. 
 
Walked out and returned to the same station I had gone before. This time I they were handing out the certificates. 
 
I left with a bunch of brochures (voting, passport, ssn, etc) and a naturalization certificate.
One of the happiest days of my life so far. 

Hi, I don't know if anyone is in the same situation. I had my interview back in May 2021, did well and the officer told me it would be only 2-3 weeks wait for the oath ceremony. I am now waiting 4 months and haven't received my oath ceremony. Is it normal? I am in Philadelphia office. Thank you.

I just want to share the good news that I have passed my citizenship interview. The officer congratulated me and issued the recommendation for approval. It was super quick for me. I went in at 9.15 and was out the door by 9.38. Everyone at the USCIS office was super nice. They have an officer who went in and out to instruct people where to go, he even brought me to the cubical for my interview. I didn't expect to have the interview via video call. But it was fast, easy, and safe. I already got my 10 year green card, but still brought all the additional documents just in case. The officer didn't ask for any extra docs, went straight to the test. I just want to say that I am super happy with today. I hope everybody else will have the same result and get your citizenship soon.

Well, went to my interview today  , I was truly nervous but with my hubby holding my hand I knew we could do it as our love is real.
 
after the interview and while driving back home I saw an update saying my card is being produced and I was crying in the car.
 
my hubby knew we would pass and I guess he was right lol.
 
I am happy this part of the journey is over for us. 
 
last step is doing the N400 and we will be starting that next month.

How do you know your field office? my receipt said Overland Park, KS. Is that it?

Should I call and ask if they've ever sent me a biometric appoinment? I registered for text notification and I checked online but no update besides your case is received. 

Hi, USCIS received my package on Nov 13, check cashed Nov 19. After make an e request on Dec 14 and got my NOA on Jan 5. But I haven't received any biometric appointment. My center is LIN. Have anyone from LIN receive their biometric appointment?

They told everyone that a receipt got sent but no one received it yet  
My service center is Nebraska too, and it looks like it takes about 5 weeks to actually receive a notice (take a peak at the October threat)
