I think they are not related at all. they are not having interaction with people, unless there is interview. and based on my understanding the majority of cases do not need to go through interview process.
That's good to know. I'm from Seattle where there's a legitimate public scare going on right now. Schools are closed, and I believe the USCIS office in Tukwilla is closed the other day due to coronavirus concern..
I'm just hoping it doesnt delay anyone process any much longer.. entering 15 months of wait time now

You guys think the coronavirus will delay our processing times even longer?!?!

You need to call to schedule an infopass within 30 days of extension expiration. During the infopass appointment they will give you a stamp in your passport that acts as a greencard.
Thank you! do you know if they accept an expired passport for infopass appointment? Mine expired last year and i would have to fly to the consulate in San Francisco to get it renewed.
Appreciate for your help.

I just checked the mail! I got my 18 month extension letter! Im so relieved, I can now go and renew my driver's license and get to travel for vacation this march! The paper feels abit thick and if you put it up to the light you can see the watermarks.
Yay. Grats to everyone that got their extension.
