Visa was issued today! Thank God!!! 
Big thank you to everyone in this forum for describing your experiences and updating your timelines so that I knew what to expect every step of the way from NVC processing to interview. 
 
You guys are incredible and I pray for easy, pain-free process for everyone. Hang in there!
 
Gonna start looking for plane tickets now. Yippee!💃

Wife's interview was in Dhaka, Bangladesh at 8:30 am . It was extremely short. Less than 1 minute! These are the questions:

1) Is this your first marriage? Yes. 
2) Your Husband's? Second.
3) Do you have your husband's Divorce Decree? Yes. Handed the Paperwork. He glimpsed at it for 5 seconds.
4) Your husband changed his first name. Do you have any paperwork showing that? Yes. She provided the court order for name change. The Interviewing Officer told her "That's all." You can pick up your visa in two weeks. 

Did not ask for any paperwork at all. Not even the signed Affidavit of Support!! She left the Embassy at 11:30 am. At 4 pm same day, the status changed to "Issued."

In Bangladesh, it takes only 2 days after the status shows "Issued." We are expecting a text tomorrow for Passport pickup.

My wife just passed the interview this morning in Vietnam. CO didn't even check any documents which she brought to the interview. It has been a long journey man.

Finally just got my interview at the Mumbai Consulate for Feb 13th! (CC: Nov 30; PD: Feb 20). Yay! Fingers crossed all goes well. Quick question: I'm in the conditional green card category. I've heard that if you're married 2 years at the time of the interview, they give you an unconditional GC. I'll be married 2 years as of March 6th (a couple of weeks after my interview) - Is there any way they would remove the conditions anyway? 

just got email from nvc. interview scheduled at mumbai embassy 1st feb 2019. CC 3rd dec. soooooooooo happpyyy. thankw god. finally end of this waiting game😁😁😁😁😁

Visa is approved. ALHMDOLILAH.

@Ajitob @Kanene @C & ja CC in August also...it's a good idea going the Congressman route.. because we really need intervention here...I do not think they will ask for other people information.. I will check it out this week..OMG we have suffered in the hands of NVC/ Lagos embassy.. however let us continue to pray n keep the faith...all our setbacks will end in praises.. God almighty knows what he is doing..

- Interview date Dec 17, 2018 at 7:30am
- Security guy let me in at 7:20am, gave my passport, all documents then scanned
- at 7:30am, passed another security check. gave all document then scanned again
- at 7:40am to window-7 for waiting number assign. got the number and wait they call
- at 8:00am, i was called to window-5 and asked to give, Passport, Birth cert, Marriage cert, Police cert and all marriage/relationship evidence photo, email, money transferred 
- Back the the seat and wait they call again.
- at 8:40am, I was called again to the window-5 and asked for swear, fingers scanned then CO started to interview 
     - What is ur wife's name?
     - Who petitioned you ?
     - Where did your marriage take place ?
     - What is your wife's date of birth ?
     - How many people joined the wedding ?
     - Did your wife's parents came to join the wedding ?
     - Where her parents live ?
     - Have you ever marriage before ?
     - Who does you wife live with ?
     - When did you start to know each other ?
     - Did you use Facebook to communicate ?
     - Who introduced her to you ?
     - What is date of your marriage ?
- At 8:50am done interviewing, it took 10mn
- CO said all right ur visa is granted, please come back to get your visa and passport on 28-Dec-2018 after Christmas. have a good day !  
- At 9am, got all documents back excepted the Passport they kept to proceed making visa, and left the embassy 
All questions are very basic. answer the truth, everything will be fine. I do wish and pray for all if you to get the visa !!!

Just had my interview today me and my son .. we were both approved 🙏 .. thank god 

Okay everyone on this post. I am returning to church tomorrow. It’s been a while but I think it’s about time. All of you will be in my prayers tomorrow morning. I pray that we all have some progress in this visa journey so we can have a warm happy Christmas this year. 🙏👍👍

Hmm... During my hubby’s interview they didn’t ask for any evidence of relationship. He was only asked for his original civil documents and physical exam result. He did have few (photos and letters we exchanged with each other) evidence Incase they ask for it. So he didn’t end up showing his evidence. Everything was okay aside from requesting for another sponsor. That’s why our case is on AP status. 
 
I couldn’t sleep on the morning of his interview. Chile is 7 hours ahead of Hawaii time. I was up all night filling my liver with wine until I heard anything from him. I don’t think I’ve ever been so nervous in my LIFE!!! I don’t wish this on anyone, really. I tell all my friends to find their lover in the states!!! LOL!!! 😂😂😂

Agreed!!! Yes!!! I would much prefer hot or cold slap for a month than to go through this grueling process!! 🙏

Medical is scheduled on Monday! Hopefully we will get a case complete next week! Unfortunately it’s a 4-day holiday weekend here for the embassy  Might take a little longer.
