  1. Yeah I guess so!! I'm not sure if it's the combo card, my AP was approved back in July but they opened another AP case for me without my knowledge a few weeks ago that's still pending and the Tier 1 that I spoke to had absolutely no clue why or what that means for the approved AP. So yeah it's just a waiting game now to see what the card says. 🙄 Also I see that you're done with the GC process for now! Congrats!!! Time to celebrate! 👏😁 Thank you! Just the EAD unfortunately.
  2. So.... 240 days after arrival into the US and the day has FINALLY arrived!!! I'm ecstatic!! 🥳
  3. Hey, I submitted a service request for my EAD almost 2 weeks ago, just a few days before the date was pushed back (again!!!). I was trying to check the status of my service request but can't seem to find any record of it on MyUSCIS, I presume as I'm back into regular processing times does that mean the service request has been cancelled and I have to make yet another in a week when I'm outside of normal times again? Also big congrats to everybody else that've received approvals already! Hoping the rest of us have some good luck soon, lord knows it's about time. 8 months of not being able to travel or work is really starting to take it's toll on me... 😕
  4. Another day, another confusion.. Just received a letter in the mail from USCIS with a receipt notice for a brand new AP dated August 29th and the online case checker says this. Does anybody have any idea what's going on? 🤯
  5. Got an update that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview on August 29th, super unexpected! Still no word on my EAD though and it's now been 6 weeks since my AP approval and still haven't received my AP in the mail. I submitted a service request for a missing document (AP) and was supposed to hear back by August 28th. Any idea what I can do now? Would calling them be any use? Every time I feel like I'm making progress with USCIS there's always something else that goes wrong. 😡
  6. I'm soooooo frustrated. I was 3 days away from being able to make an enquiry, I've been counting down for a few weeks now since they lowered it initially. Back to the waiting game... 😫
  7. Hey just for peace of mind, I travelled back to England on an emergency AP last month and had absolutely no problems. All I had was my passport with my K1 in it and the emergency AP (the paper with a passport photo and stamp), the CBP officer just looked at it and sent me to a side room to get stamped. The second guy just asked to confirm my birthday and where I live and let me on my way. It will all be fine so don't stress. I hope you guys enjoy your trip!
  8. Hi, not really sure how to explain this one well but once again in this process I'm left confused and feeling lost. So, 2 weeks ago today (July 23rd, it's now August 6th) my Advanced Parole was approved and I received the confirmation letter in the mail 2 days later informing me 'Your travel document will be mailed to you separately'. However, 2 weeks later I still haven't received another letter nor and upon checking over my original confirmation letter I noticed in the top right corner it states 'Approval notice - Valid from 7/22/2019 to 08/24/2019'. I guess what I'd like to know is; 1) Why has my AP been approved but not my EAD? 2) Why is there a 1 month validity date on the notice? 3) Should I expect to receive an AP document in the mail or should it have arrived already? Is there a way that I can contact USCIS about this? Hopefully somebody else has been in a similar situation and can give me some peace of mind.
  9. Okay so... 180 days since I arrived in the US and I'm still sat here with no idea when I can get back to a normal life. I'm hoping somebody can give me some insight into this before I go insane. 2 weeks ago today my AP was approved (only my AP, EAD still says Case Received March 29th) however I still haven't gotten anything in the mail or any further updates? How long is it supposed to take for them to send it out and what exactly should I expect to receive for an approved AP? Some kind of card or? Anyone else had a similar situation? ***Forgot to mention that I did receive an official approval letter 2 days after the online update but it just said the same thing as below***
  10. Hi, sorry if this has been answered before but this whole process is so confusing and I'm a little overwhelmed. I filed March 29th, had my biometrics mid-April and then received an RFE on June 26th stating that I needed to send my birth certificate (pretty sure I sent it but w/e). I just got back 2 days ago from a visit home to the UK for my grandads funeral, I traveled on an Emergency Advanced Parole that I acquired after multiple calls/visits to the local USCIS field office, which was an entire ordeal on it's own but that's a whole different story. Anyway, my regular Advanced Parole that I filed for with my AOS just got approved today which is great, however my EAD is still stuck on 'On March 29, 2019, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization...' I thought this was a 2-in-one so to speak, should they be approved together or is it normal for one to take longer than the other? Does it have something to do with the fact that I just traveled on the Emergency Advanced Parole? Should I expect to receive an approval for the EAD soon too? I'm getting restless and want to start looking for work to do something useful with my time. Hoping somebody else has had a similar experience. Thanks in advance for the help.
