The wait doesn't stop when you get to the Nao2 stage as there seems to be a huge range of wait times before you hear from the NVC. Our NAO2 date is February 8 and we still have not received any notification. We just have to be patient live one day at a time and have faith that eventually we will be reunited with our loved ones.

I have checked the site and even though we received our Nao2 it doesn't show up on the website!

2nd question for those who have done the next step applying for the Visa, have the nvc contacted you about payment? 

How long does the nvc take to send the package to the consulate in your country?

They really don't care about the stress this whole process puts on us!

Past due date is considering 7.5 months, this is about 200 days according to USCIS site. Only after that you can call them and they can put an inquery for outside of processing time. However the answer for that is pretty standart and many times that doesn't do anything. Some people wait for their NOA 2 close to one year or even more. So if you are October filler 2018 you are still good. 

 

That's right just because they are currently running early they do predict 4.5 to 7.5 months. Anything under 7.5 months is a bonus!

Don't expect to see it on the website we got notified by our lawyer 8 days after it was approved. Our case still doesn't reflect our N2 status

We are off to make sure all of our immunizations are up to date and get a record from our dr on Wednesday. Police check is next to arrange. Why is this process so EXPENSIVE!! All worth it in the end though!

Will need accommodation in Sydney for medical and interview more money!!

Thank you everyone. The funny part of this is I am one of those who check for updates every hour and there have been none! So for eight days I was worrying for nothing!! 

Does anybody know how long the Australian Consulate is taking once the NVC has sent the packet to them?

You can't find anything out until may
