That’s a BIG issue for most Americans. My husband is Nigerian and the $$$ we have spent on healthcare  This year even with insurance is crazy!  Medical, dental, hearing, orthotics. We haven’t even made it to eyes yet! Because he had no such healthcare in Nigeria.  praying for a positive Outcome for you two. I don’t know what sensitive means as far as your wife is concerned but  no wahala

Sensitive in the sense that somethings we endure in Nigeria makes her sick and cause concerned for her

A disabled person should stay in the US. I pray you get approved. We are approved! Thank God! Free for 2 years!!

Not physical disable.. She had accident some years back but didn't recover in the stipulated time she supposed to recover that's why she is categorized as disable not like she has any physical disability

I pray you are approved if she moves to Nigeria she will be uninsured. Medicare does not travel.... and for her to be on Medicare she is 65 years old and up....

Exactly what Medicare told her that if she moves down here or stay outside the state for more than 6month she will be uninsured and will have to pay back all they've spent on her

Yes she's is disabled.... When she contact Medicare about her moving down to me, Medicare told her that their insurance does not covered outside state or go internationally and also she will have to pay back all they've spent on her which is much... She's not 65yet within the range.. That's one huge obstacle that can hinder her moving down here

But back to OP - as you can see our discussion here stated that common sense should be applied, not artificially generated "proof".

Facetime I believe is the most valuable thing and it looks like your USC spouse has already spent some time with you, and you are planning to spend more time together so that's good.

Then wills, power of attorneys, USC making you beneficiary for life insurances, maybe shared credit cards (if they're being used in your country). My husband for instance doesn't use any bank accounts or credit cards, in his country everything works best via cash payments and I assume local IO's know that so we don't even bother with credit cards.

Thanks for your contribution... She is ready to move here whichever way the outcome of the interview... Moreso she has added me.... We shared credit card and also a beneficiary on her life insurance but Medicare won't allow her to add me on her Healthcare based on the fact that I have to be there in person

You'll likely need more visits, more time spent together in person, to get through Lagos successfully and get a visa approved.  In addition to more time spent together, you'll need better evidence of financial co-mingling than a pest control bill.  Will, living will, power of attorney, shared bank accounts, joint ownership of assets, joint credit card account, beneficiaries on each other's retirement accounts, investment accounts, life insurance, health insurance, dental insurance, taxes filed as married jointly, all the things normal married couples do.  With only three visits, and getting married on the first visit, with a big age gap, high-fraud Nigeria, and very weak financial co-mingling evidence, in my opinion you'll be denied unless things change significantly.  She may have to move to Nigeria to live with you if you're denied and you want to live together.  Good luck!

Most of these are not realizable unless I'm there physically

    Hello,

Just out of curiosity - is it really anticipated that a couple that does not live in the US together has joined bank accounts, joined health/dental insurance and those things? These are something one would create once united in the US, or am I mistaken?

Exactly, she make enquiries about all these and they let her know that my presence will be needed before she can do all these aforementioned

Lagos is not easy to go through...what evidence of a bonafide marriage do you have?

Has she ever filed for anyone else (ie. a previous fiancee or spouse) before you?

Nope she has never filed for anyone before.. This is the first time... She put me on her light bill, car insurance, pest control bill.. She couldn't put me on water bill and account because I don't have ssn yet

filling out your timeline and consulate info will help us help you.

in general, high fraud consulates and red flags such as yours can be overcome with MANY in person visits (all documented well) and as much proof of bonafide marriage as you can get. be it banks, credit cards (some do not require a SS # for authorized user), wills, insurance policies, power of attorneys, etc

My timeline is up to date... We are still in Nebraska.... 346days.. She has been here 3times within a year and she is ready to moved here but moving down here is a very tedious process which we have to put on hold till after my interview

Three times before you filed the I-130? Does she plan to visit again? Will she be there when you have your interview appointment? The more visits, the better the chance of approval.

For now, her coming back here will be based on the outcome of the interview at the embassy...money spent on flight and all that is much.. If the interview is approved then so be it but if it's delayed she planned on coming and staying for 6month which I hope it doesn't get to that.. She won't be here for the interview because we got to know that they don't allow anyone else to enter the embassy in my country apart from applicant

In general, yes.  It will take a lot of work, several visits over the course of the period between filing the I130 and visa interview will look better than only one single visit etc.  Additionally, extensive commingling of the marriage financially will look better.

    Good Luck!

We are still in i130 stage few days to a year now at Nebraska and she has been here 3times

I have no clue why it went so quickly. 47 days between NOA1 and NOA2 is wild (even for DCF, which 90~ days is typical). In an optimal world everyone’s I-130 would go that quick. With the field office assets being moved Stateside, hopefully it can speed up all the service centers. A long wait is so strenuous. But you’re getting close!

Thanks I hope we hear from them soon
