Yeah I beileve the same you just said it all depends on the person reviewing it. Thanks hopefully looking forward for no RFE causing delays. I submitted my Ds260 January 30,2019 and all the documents I finished uploading them febuary 1,2019. Do they start counting from the first or last day of submission ?

They count from the first day you submit. We submitted most things together but we forgot to submit 1 other document so we did it 4 days later and all documents were reviewed together 2 weeks from the date of the first ones submitted.

Ok, did they ask you for a tax transcript for 2018?, I added 2018 w2s just for extra additional documents and I’m afraid they might ask me to get it. But it’s impossible to include 2018 transcript it is not available. I’ve seen some people include 2018 w2 and are fine.

We didn’t submit anything from 2018 and they didn’t ask for it. We did submit w2 for 2017 and tax transcript. I guess it all depends on the person reviewing the documents because I too saw some who were asked to submit 2018. Hopefully that’s not the case for you! When did you submit your documents?

sure keep in touch. Its sad because my anniversary is coming soon and I had hope that my wife would be here before our anniversary but that doesn't seem like the case anymore. Let me know when you get any updates. I will also inform you. Thanks. God bless.

Patience..but I know it’s so hard sometimes!! Hopefully we hear some good news soon 🙂 take care!

ok cool hopefully we hear back soon because I know someone who uploaded on Jan 14 and heard back with case complete yesterday.  I actually had to resubmit my W-2's separately on January 16 (I had two jobs in 2017), originally submitted all documents Jan 3.

Yeah I saw that member too! Idk how they process things it seems to be pretty random at times :( I originally submitted on Jan 4th lol but my husband was missing some moving expense form so we had to resubmit on the 18th. Let’s keep in touch since we have similar timelines!

Yes you told me this already but as I said, there have been many members who reported not receiving a case number until 6-8 weeks have passed from the time NVC received their file, not 6-8 weeks from the time it was approved. Believe me, I'd rather you be right about this because it means I'd be getting my case number in a week or so like you said.

Yeah unfortunately it’s been taking close to the full 8 weeks from when they receive the petition :( It took us 7 weeks and 1 day.

    Approved at USCIS: oct 19/2018

    sent to NVC: oct 30/2018

    NVC recieved: nov 7/2018

    case # assigned: dec 27/2018

1 week and 5 days to send to NVC

then 1 week and 1 day for NVC to receive petition and  7 weeks and 1 day for case #

    hope that helps!!
