    You'll be fine.

If you're still worried, some ideas:

Medical insurance? If none... Risky. If joint, include it.

Auto insurance? Even if you have one car, even if it's owned by someone else, you should both be listed as insured.

What do you do on the daily basis? For example, if you go to the library, get your membership record that shows your address. If you volunteer, do the same. Museums? Other memberships?

    Any trips together?

Either way, you're not in horrible shape. Feel free to write up a letter that outlines your expenses and how those are paid (hopefully from your joint account), and your plans for the future in bullet point form.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond with some great ideas I really appreciate it.

My husband is on his dad's insurance.  It's been really rough on him these past few months he lost his mom in November and his dad in February I really don't want to add my stress and anxiety to his grief.

I'll go to the library tomorrow. I tried looking on the library app to print my address and maybe apply for a card for my husband as well.

I unfortunately don't have health insurance and I have already gotten started on the letter you suggested.

    Thanks again for your help.

  2. Hello I would appreciate some advice from anyone who can help.

My husband and I have our AOS interview next week.  We applied for AOS in September 2018 I received my EAD in February and my interview notice in early March.

We have little in the way of "evidence"  I wasn't working and my husband only works part time his credit is not good he doesn't have a lot of financial documents to add me to. We live with family at the moment so we have no bills or lease in our names.

    So far we have

    *Phone bill

    *Joint back account

    *Life insurance

*My aunt who we are living with wrote a letter explaining that we both live with her and my husband helps with the bills.

*We have pictures of us and friends and family

*We have cards we get from friends and family on our wedding day and also our anniversary.

We are really trying to find a place for ourselves I'm currently job hunting.

Please advise if there is anything we could do even though the date is so close.

Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and God bless good luck to everyone on this journey.

    EAD card arrived yesterday

I had started to get worried as it was approved on 15th Feb and the status never changed from 'Your Card is Being Produced' to 'Card Mailed' but NOA showed up in the mail on Friday and then the EAD just showed up yesterday also.

Great to see some movement and progress!!

Congratulations on receiving your EAD!  Did you receive your ssn as well? My EAD came in the mail yesterday but no ssn

    Dear all,

we were wondering about the AOS evidence of relationship that we should include in the AOS package.

right now, we have nothing except our photos. no bank account, no joint bills, no insurance beneficiaries.

    should we be worried?

should we postpone filing until we do all the stuff above or send the package with  no evidence?

some posts states one or the other option so we are confused.

    thanks for the help

    Hi Blessed981

My husband and I filed our aos in September we got married in January and live with his parents we only contribute to groceries and the Bills we do not have any Bill in both our names.  We only sent a bank statement, copies of cards we got from family members as evidence I did my biometrics last Friday.

  6. My first package was sent back on Thursday. I had submitted an outdated i485.

I filled out the new updated i485 from the uscis website on Friday, rearranged the package and took it to the post office Saturday morning September 8.

My package should have been delivered today but the tracking shows Your item has left our acceptance facility and is in transit to a sorting facility on September 8, 2018 at 11:49 am in JAMAICA, NY 11434.

I called usps today they have to open a case to see if they can find it.

I use usps the first time and it got to the lockbox with no problems this time no one can tell me where it is.

  7. @jean baptiste

Yes the bottom number on the website was different than the one I sent.

My package came back jumbled as well and stapled out of order with some numbers on the bottom of all the pages. The money order had their stamp on them.

Double check your i765 before you resend the package the old one expires 9/17/18. There is a new edition on the website now.

    And do not use usps🙁🙈

  8. I have a back up package but I sent a money order.

My package should have gotten to the lockbox today by 3 still showing in the tracking that it is on the way to a sorting facility since Saturday. I started a case with the post office I'm waiting on them to contact me before I try sending again.  I don't want uscis getting two packages from me. Hopefully they will find it

  9. @kat111 I see the difference with the one I sent and the one on their website.  I'm filling out the new one right now trying to get it back in the mail today.

They wrote on the bottom of the other forms and the packet is not in the order I sent it.

Does anyone know if I should sent it as is or do need to reorganize and redo all the forms or only the I485 for which I got the notice??

Congrats again @kat111!! I'll join you soon over on the other side 😉
